What a sweet looking buggy. Love the wide stance. I'm a big fan of spectrum systems. I like how well you land it off the jumps. Sorry to see your link broke but we got a good view of the DGI wheel extenders. 💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Thanks dude! It’s an animal so much fun too! The dgi wheel extenders helped handling SO much! I have their links on the way. Oh and some behind the scenes stuff I haven’t mentioned yet. I recently just partnered up with Just Bash It RC. And we’re making a 7075 T6 aluminum chassis for the DBXLE!!! I can’t wait to build this thing up more so I can REALLY send it!

How these Backflips holding up for you, I have a set and I recently got a dbxle.... Not going crazy, stock electronics, 17t pinion eventually... Any other tire recommendations?

I fuckin love backflips man they’re great. I’ve only ever had to re glue one and I also use them on my Kraton 8S and outcast 8S so that says a lot. I wouldn’t run anything else honestly. You may need fans with the 17T pinion. An xmaxx heat sink and fan will work on the stock motor with a little bending of the heat sink.

@@midwestern_rc yes thanks for that feedback, so many dudes say MX43's, and there $$ and Heavy. Plus I already have an extra set of Backflip 8s besides the ones on my Outcast so 8 will start there and 🤞 Yeah my stock motor has 2x 40mm fans running off the 8.4 Bec, might go off the 4s balance leeds if I need more powa. But should be fine. And I will probably add a 40mm fan to the Firma 160 as well as I already have a mount to do so and an extra fan👍 Appreciate ya

Yeah you’ll have more air control with the backflips since they balloon more than the MX43s. You’ll break less shit too. Also if I could go back tbh I would’ve just gone with the 1” wheel spacers. The width from the 2” ones was nice for handling but I think I broke more stuff. You’ll need a minimum of 1” to fit the Arrma 8S wheels

If i get this car..i will probably end up babying it and treat it like a shelf queen...it just looks so damn nice...maybe 2 or 3 foot jumps max...one solution what i do for overheating if i have no fans is to take a water bottle of water alcohol mix and pour a little on the motor every 5 minutes or so...cools it off more rapidly than air..i will get some negative feed from doing this but i been doing this for years...no problems...the alcohol evaporates quick so no rust issues and i am care ful where i pour it on the motor

Don’t do that water trick. You never want to rapidly change the temperature of any hot metal it will likely lead to the metal on the motor or the internals of the motor to warp. And honestly I kinda said the same thing before getting this. They get boring REALLY quick and then next thing you know you’re spending a lot of money in upgrades just for it to still not be that exciting. I ended up selling mine. An XRT, XMAXX Kraton 8S or outcast 8S would be a better choice.

@@midwestern_rc thanks for the info...I think I am going to avoid this buggy...I have also seen others post that losi could have made it more durable due to its price but they deploy a marketing scheme which they sell aftermarket upgrades which are expensive s. I already have the Kraton 6s so I don't want the 8s .(two of the same trucks) even though im not a big fan of traxxas (too much plastics)I I am leaning toward the XRT.....cheap replacement parts and there everywhere

With the new ones I think 18 is max. My 16T got pretty hot tho man. So get some fans for sure if you’re gonna go above 16T. Also. I’ve heard the Xmaxx heat sink and fans fit on the DBXLE motor you just gotta bend the heat sink some
