Sometimes it takes me 2 or 3 viewings or days to watch a entire video,well worth it. I've lost a few of the wheel nut pins. I think its 2mm think? Just dremel a drill bit to size and a little grease or carefully placed shoogoo well keep it in place!

Best upgrade I ever did on my db pro was all metal center diff (same size as lasernut) and aluminum motor mount (same as lasernut) with steel spur gear. No plastic anywhere in the center. With some dBoots hoons, I power slide all over the place. On 4s it runs like a beast! Of course I have fans on the motor to keep it cool. 😎 as 🧊

I still have the stock wheels on there and love that setup. When I tried to put Badland MX 2.8 on they didn't fit right in the front.

You could could had put a washer on it so you could have used the stock hex

Yes as I said like the power hobby wheel video but the hex will cut the wheel over time 💯💯

Every video you've put out lately have helped me out. I've got a DB PRO also and love it but I'm not wild about the wheel/tires Rustler tires make a lot of sense. Thanks earl and RC Guy Garage!

EARL....I made that hex change awhile back,,,,,but interesting enough you can’t use traxxas or armma small wheel nuts haboa has a different thread,, pattern,,,,,fine thread I believe.....🇺🇸👈🚘

Can't wait for the comparison video between the DB Pro and TLR Typhon. A highly regarded 1/10 SCT-platform buggy with 1/8 scale buggy dimensions vs a true 1/8 scale buggy. Seeing them compared both on 3S will be interesting; although would also like to see the TLR Typhon run on 4S and then 6S since 3S on the TLR Typhon would disadvantage it somewhat since the 1/8 buggy platform with the more robust build in my view is intended for 4S-6S power.

Yes definitely a nice touch when my stock tires wear down far enough gonna make the switch… guess I must have overlooked RC guy’s vid on this lol … by the way save those front and rear screw and plates with RPM plastic skid plates part # RPM 73182 they work great I also recommend using fuel line cutting to size and using as dampeners… take care Earl …

I bought a DB Pro, about a year ago. Just recently starting money on her, so far, have TONS of extra parts (JennysRc). Upgraded the servo 1st thing, went with Savox 1210E, changed the Diff Fluids, and went with 4S Electronics (Mojave 4S (JennysRC). Added a Fan & Heat Sink. Im debating going 17mm hex upgrade, so can use my Badlands Tires off my Typhon, but not sure ( Extenders or not), also worries would the Savox 1210E support the added wheel / tire weight. Me and my sons dont do the Hard Core Bashing, jumps, we race at a local baseball field (Sand), and have the time of our life. Cant do the 3 hour trip 1 way to a track, just not possible with my work schedule.

Rpm skid plates man, also upgrade the steering bell crank to the exotek #1930

i got a max 8 and the 2400kv motor from traxxas maxx in my tenacity tt pro i run 4s monster monster torque and speed with no temp issues stock was fine but always could be better =D

My buddy has a db pro and those things are really good out of the box and handle so good, wonder how it's going to stand up to the tlr typhon

Another question for you is would a vendetta motor work in the db pro? It's got a 130 amp esc a faster kv motor would be cool maybe just run it on 4s?
