Ha, watching this back reminds me of my brief career in trash collecting :) On long distances you sit in the front, but yeah, we still collect bags of wast. But only non-eatable and non-cardbord items... Those are in trashcan.... And dont try to enter when its hilly and snowy, when its some what moving hahaha....

For soemreason im my town im in in canada in neighbour hoods the driver is on the right and they have the right door open and where the trash goes is on the right not on the rear when they are done with collecting trash they close the door up and sot on the left side

Yes they have dual drive trucks, mine is, i can drive to route on the left and if im on a street where all trash is on the right i can jump over there so i don't have to run around the whole truck all day. Imagine a 30ft plus truck 1200 stops and the average bag is 30lbs and there are usually between 3-10 bags each stop plus potential furniture exc..it is an extremely tough job. Any little shortcut helps exponentially

Ya there are front loaders, rear loaders, side loaders. They all can be dual drive trucks and all serve the same purposes there are also automated side loaders where an arm dumps the cans.

In real life that doesnt "open" it is a blade that moves up and down and the bottom opens/closes like a claw. It compacts and crushes the trash. You only lock it down when a. You need to clear the hopper to fit more trash in or B. You are going off route or c. You are traveling on a highway. Otherwise it is ok to leave trash in the hopper with the blade up..there is a plate inside the hopper also that moves forward or rearward and you can push a lever to crush the compact it further to fit more on. In real life the helper runs the controls on the back of the rearloader. Front loaders and asls can be operated from inside the cab

It doesn't need to come down every time you move, just when theres enough trash to fall out or if travelling far.

When they are wearing those trash bags on their heads it reminds me of Garry's mod's " Prop Hunt". FTM one of your trash can guys fell off the truck at 13 minutes in. A car hit him.

Here where I live they have the new mechanical arm on our trash trucks.

in my area the trucks always have there lights on if the guys are hanging on the back

When I install the Waste Management truck I still get the default one in the mod, anyone know a fix?

I remember there is a mod where you can drive the light rail for Los Santos goes to work. It makes a good video. I do know in Norfolk there is a great tram line

were i live if you are living in the city the city picks up your trash and the recycling but if you live in the county you will hire a private trash service who picks up your trash on a weekly basis and the city will pick up your recycling

I was getting gas and an ambulance was pulling out onto the main road, and this charger I guess didn't get out of the way. Luckily there was a cop right behind the ambulance and pulled him over.

I love the waste management skin on the truck.

And a car hit the collector and the car knocked him of.

A helper isn't aloud on the step when traveling further than 2 blocks, speeds xan not go above 10mph with a helper on the step and they must not be on the step when backing up. Alot of rules and laws for garbage men and most residential areas don't use cans unfortunately it is really a toss up unless the route is an automated truck then they have to have a can.

Yup the packer or the blade what ever but you only rack it to compact the trash or to lock it down to enter a highway/head to dump.
