Aquí se aprecia el cruce de generaciones, abuelos, padres e hijos...los Chilenos hemos crecido con "LOS JAIVAS", que es imposible que exista alguién en Chile que NO los conozca. Tienen presentaciones bastante especiales, casi emblemáticas, ustedes ya vieron su presentación en Macchu Picchu, pero también han estado en lugares tan destacados como la Antártica (please busquen!) "Canción del Sur); otro sitio es, en el Desierto de Atacama en Chile (el más árido del mundo) y por último en RAPA NUI (Chile). Ellos son geniales y su música la llevamos en nuestro ADN...gracias por reaccionar a ellos. Ahí está el "Gato" Alquinta...ya han transcurrido 21 años de su partida y aún se le extraña, aunque sigue más vivo que nunca en el corazón de los Chilenos...tampoco dejaré fuera al inolvidable Gabriel Parra, pero ya han pasado 36 años y es aún más difícil de olvidar pues la mejor heredera que tiene su batería es precisamente su hija.. Juanita Parra, espectacular! Gracias de nuevo y dejen a los mejores a Los Jaivas!

The song belong to a poem of Neruda "Machu Picchu Hihgs" and it´s a vision of the poet of how this city was build by the incas. How they suffered in the construction. This song is truly like an anthem. When Eduardo "gato" Alquinta (lead voice and guitar in this song) sadly passed away back in 2003, this song was played in his funeral by the rest of the band members and, of course, the huge crowd present all sang along as well, I only saw it in the news when I was little but it deeply touched me. This song means literally "come climb to be born with me, brother", I appreciate this reaction and it truly surprises me that the emotions are transmitted even to people who are unfamiliar with our culture

​@@victorantoniopereiragutier4867 No es excelente, está lejos de ser la mejor. El audio en ese momento no estaba sonando bien , además en esos años la tecnología no era la mejor. Se nota que al principio no se escucha la voz del gato. (eso no estaba preparado) No me mal interpretes, esta versión me gusta mucho porque se escucha la voz de la gente. A lo que me refiero es que no es la versión indicada para presentársela a un extranjero que escucha por primera vez. *Siempre es mejor recomendar la versión original del álbum el indio 1975 y después cualquier otra version.*

@@peperino25 tampoco me mal intérpretes... Muchas gente puede decir que los Jaivas son una banda de diferentes generaciones y aquí está la muestra... Se siente la pasión que generan en vivo... Los discos de estudio son geniales... Pero escuchar a los Jaivas en vivo genera emociones que yo nunca he vivido... Por eso y con la falla de audio del principio te dan algo único... Es eso... Y a todos los que he escuchado reaccionando a esa versión la encuentran buenísima por lo que transmite... Un abrazo 🫂
