Los Cenzontles Academy students learn by watching and imitating the older ones. Some start coming to our Academy with their siblings right after being born. Most of our teens have been here most of their lives. The son Jarocho students learn traditional instruments and dance by Lucina Rodriguez who herself started at Los Cenzontles as a teen.
This video was directed and shot by Tudor Stanley and Emiliano Rodriguez and edited by Emiliano (also a Cenzontle since birth). Produced by Eugene Rodriguez.
