For one thing Bird played an entirely different position, no comparison; this era is weak so of course Jokic does well in this area; but will he do well in the era of hand check and no flagrant fouls

Jokic is more well rounded than bird, he’s not as accomplishing but more talented and more physically dominant, not to mention he doesn’t have diminishing returns with his teammates (like how bird did with Kevin Mchale) bird is an all time great but jokic could become the greatest player ever with what he’s been doing
