The Los Angeles Chapter of the Foundation Fighting Blindness hosted a virtual speaker series featuring Kristin McDonald and Jacqueline Hantgan. Kristin McDonald, a jCyte Clinical Trial participant, details her experience of what goes into being selected for a clinical trial to help restore vision, covering everything from what it’s like to qualify for a trial, to the experiences that come with it. Following Kristin’s presentation, Jacqueline Hantgan spoke about her advocacy work for continued stem cell research in California.
