Al hablar del Imperio Inglés, faltó mencionar las matanzas a la población nativa de Norteamérica, que continuó después por los estadounidenses, una vez lograda su independencia. Esta no fue la primera de las atrocidades del imperio estadounidense; la siguen Hiroshima, Vietnam, Irak, Bosnia, Siria, México (asesinato de Madero) y muchas más.

@@NervThe entiendo y tienes razón pero de los que se mencionaron en el video tampoco eran imperios propiamente dicho, fueron gobiernos de dictadores que en su afán de "grandeza para su pueblo" se apropiaron de territorios que no les pertenecian, en el caso de Mao, se puede negar su influencia en la "monarquía comunista" Juche de Kim Il-sung?, es un buen video pero la palabra imperios no aplica a todos los casos expuestos en el mismo, igual, es mi punto de vista pero respeto el tuyo

China no ha invadido a ningún país. Ni siquiera en 1,000 años de su historia, China ha invadido ni robado territorios o recursos a NADIE.

Es difícil determinar los imperios del futuro, en especial porque la velocidad con la que surgen y luego caen ha aumentado muchísimo.

Y faltó uno de los imperios más crueles, sanguinarios e inhumanos que ha tenido la historia y fue el Estado Independiente de Croacia que fue gobernado por los Ustachas. Aunque su historia fue relativamente corta, sus atrocidades atemorizaron incluso a los propios nazis.

Si no hubieran muerto todas esas personas... viviríamos actualmente? Creo yo que el mundo hubiera ya colapsado. Morir para vivir ese es el legado del ser humano. Ahora vienen las atómicas, el planeta Tierra por fin tendrá paz.

Ni la URSS ni la China actual han sido imperios.Lo que caracteriza a los imperios es la conquista con fines económicos y por primera vez en la historia, una potencia como la URSS no empleó nunca ese poder para saquear ninguna periferia. Al contrario, gastó enormes recursos para apoyar la descolonización de Africa y Asia sin pedir nada a cambio. No hay que confundir tampoco asesinar deliberadamente con la comisión de errores graves que provocaron millones de muertes en la URSS y China. En el primer caso por la colectivización forzada del campo y en el caso chino por la campaña contra las 5 plagas. Por eso, hasta hoy Stalin y Mao son considerados personajes positivos de la historia de sus países, aun conociendo que cometieron errores graves. Puesto en la balanza son apreciados por haber puesto sus países entre los más influyentes y sacarlos de la extrema miseria. Hace 3 años una encuestadora norteamericana mostró que el 72% de los rusos tienen una buena opinión de Stalin. El cumpleaños de Mao, es motivo de grandes manifestaciones espontáneas en China. Tampoco las invasiones soviéticas de Alemania, Hungría y Checoslovaaquia pueden interpretarse como con fines imperialistas. Después de la ocupación las fuerzas de los conquistados pasan a integrar las filas del ocupante, eso no te lo cuenta la historia porque es muy vergonzoso. Como ejemplo fíjate lo que pasó en Afganistán los que estaban dirigiendo cuando se fueron los EEUU quedaron en manos de los talibanes, por eso la desesperación por salir del país de muchos afganos. En cuanto al número de los campos de concentración los números son muy diversos van desde 15000 hasta 40000 pero está tan distorsionado que no sabes cual es el correcto. Además se sabe que algunos judíos dirigían sectores en los campos. En fin todo un horror.

El segundo imperio colonial francés era peor que la napoleónica, porque está República Francesa si tenía verdaderas colonias de ultramar. Irónico que Francia vomité su revolución en su tercera República cuando tenían una política colonial en el exterior.

Dato curioso: El califato omeya mas que un estado religioso era netamente árabe es decir que da igual si eres musulmán o no si no eras árabe tenias menos privilegios lo mismo con ser de otra religión y no musulmán era una sociedad jerarquizada aunque no impusieron en si la religión a la fuerza si le daba privilegios a la raza árabe mas que si eras musulmán y por eso hicieron una guerra civil para convertirse el califato abasí donde se enfocaba mas en la religión y no en la raza además de añadir privilegios a los no musulmanes y que raro que no estuviese el estadounidense o algunas dinastías chinas e indias o el de Tamerlan
