This bag is just a slim/baguette vanity. I genuinely think the only reason it's so hyped is because it's the cheapest bag/leather good from the brand 🙄

@@Somehowadulting The show "Succession" started the quiet luxury trend and Loro Piana was worn by the actors in the show. This started it all and I guess people just jumped on any product from it.

I got the oleada anchor in ash. The feel of the leather is plasticky. The bag is bigger than lp and much more functional. I like that it seems light and durable and function as a throw around bag. I got a used one on poshmark for $200 otherwise I wasn't looking for a oleada bag.

Yasss always look on the preloved market to see if there is one for cheaper. Don't have to worry about replicas much because it's not that popular. But yes, my Savette retails for like 1800 and the leather feels a bit plasticky.. definitely a throw around bag.

What a score! It was worth your time to check in at Last Chance every so often. There's not one near me or else I would stalk that place too! A few years back, Loro Piana produced a small collection for Nordstrom. I snagged a petite-size coat and paid full price knowing it wouldn't last until sale season. I will check out the bag dupe. Not my style of bag but I am curious about the hype.

Looked at the Oleada dupe. It has an outside pocket that fits a phone! The size and price are good too. I have to see if KZread has reviews of this bag. Did you review the brand?

Yea I immediately called my friend about it and she's like get it, get it now. You can still find loro on Nordstroms website but very limited variety. No I have never had a Oleada bag in my hands before. So I cant speak to the quality of the brand or the bags. If you do get one, let me know!

Tannerstein did a review of Oleada leather and he was positive about the leather and praised the craftsmanship. Hmmm, I'm really interested in the Anchor bag in Ash. I'll let you know if I get it! @@Somehowadulting

Enlightening video! Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I got the OLEADA mini anchor in camel and I really like it (for a carefree errands bag). I also don’t know if I’d want to pay the LP price tag for this bag.

@@l8Frankalein I find it super carefree and it has good capacity! Also I have received compliments on it! The quality is decent but I wouldn’t say up to par with my Polene bags. The hardware feels a little lighter and the leather isn’t quite the same quality. However, I do think it’s worth it if you can get a good discount on it! I was able to use a code for twenty percent off and had a gift card. I feel comfortable carrying it in the rain and on daily errands.

I seriously think that you should consider returning the bag to the shop because it does not look authentic. My view is based on the strap which looks different from the real one (the buckle) and the workmanship. Granted, the crookedness of the stitching may be due to the quality of the video but the stitching at the top of the bag (especially left side) definitely does not look like it would pass the QC test of LP. I also don't think that this colour comes with silver hardware and a brown interior.
