The Circinus Federation was founded by the Black Warriors, who after some unfortunate falling out's with the Free Worlds league had gone rogue. However the Black Warriors turned this negative into a positive and have since legitmised themselves by turning the world of Circinus into a thriving agricultural world thanks to the arrival of refugee's from the Succession wars.
Today the Federation continue their raids under the term Covert raid. The people know what this means but it keeps them in good stead on the planet and the black warriors protect them from external threats. Circinus has grand ambitions of becoming a genuine political player on the grand stage but for that to happen, they need to play off both the Free worlds league and Lyran Commonwealth and expand their empire to acquire new resources and wealth.

    I wouldn't be shocked to find it was inspired by the films. Given the fact Battletech was created in the mid 80s'.

    I love the Lore. I love these videos. it's a huge reason I play the game and I'm always looking to learn more about BattleTech history. but there is so much to learn it blows my mind to even think about how they came up with this stuff. also I am very into Skyrim lore and Elder Scrolls lore BattleTech and Elder Scrolls that's my life

    Well Battletech you have decades of books being out and still being made to expand all of that and I only focus on the original material. Since the clan invasion you have had numerous other era's that have further expanded the lore, rules and weapons. Although they aren't my cup of tea, they certainly show just how much passion the writers have for the setting.
