It’s so interesting how the most talented and present women singers came from the mountains in the country. Two of the best country singers, Loretta and Dolly both have such similar stories and are both so talented and have amazing stage presence.
My parents loved her, especially Dad, and I was a kid and thought these songs were stupid. Now that I’m 59, and been through two marriages and several relationships, I get these songs now. The old time country music sang about life and love and the ups and downs of both. RIP Loretta 😢
