I believe the song is a cover of "You Say" by Lauren Daigle. I loved what Loren Allred did with it!

@@ZoeStibiVocalCoach You just reacted to it. The title is "You Say", not "I Believe". It's an easy mistake since the chorus ends in 'I Believe' but the song repeatedly starts couplets out wit 'You Say". 'You say I am strong ..., You say I am loved ..., etc. It's a great message of encouragement that God loves us unconditionally despite our self doubts. Loren does a great job on it probably because of the self doubts and fears she had endured trying to get the kind of recognition reactions like the BGT audience and vocal coach analysis like yours. I always admire the depth of your knowledge of vocal things and your willingness to share them in such a positive and constructive way. Thanks again/

5:51, the funny thing about this slide is that her voice sound more relaxed as she went up. She sounded a bit pushed at the beginning.

yes i got that point of out of tune moment. it was in "I 'CAN FIND' a voice in my mind" yaa lil bit but she's carrying whole performance like a legend

Right?! Does it really matter in the grad scheme of things? Um.... nope! Legendary performance.

Have you ever heard a person who actually sang a song perfectly? I would like to hear it…no, I’m serious. I was listening to Billy Joel earlier…something I tried to sing along with but I can’t- lol, and just now when I saw your vlog, I thought you had interesting points to share. Every critic out there had something to say where Lauren could pay attention to the next time she performs this particular song. It’s like she’s with the NBA- one game you play and while performing you let some things slip so you make sure that you fix it for the next game (I’m a big Boston Celtics fan). Anyway…for someone to sing a song without any mistakes….the only person I can think of is Whitney Houston. Lauren is a different type of singer than Whitney, I believe. I think that Lauren is more limited than Whitney was. Lauren will have to work on different styles, I believe. It’s funny though. Each were/are critical of their own work. Lauren Allred IS a SUPERSTAR. The only person that doesn’t know it is Lauren herself.

Thank you! Hmmm super out of tune I wouldn't say, definitely a little out of tune here for sure.

She is intentionally off the chord.

we get it, but...pitch? She can isng but.....often super shaky, pitch.
