@jacksong2014 Had it not been for the Volunteers from Tennessee, Texas would still be Mexico. Fans going back and forth is fun and one of the best parts of college football, but seriously though, this is more of a history lesson type thing you should already know. Texas claiming UT over Tennessee is just stupid. The University of Tennessee was established on September 10th 1794. The University of Texas was established September 15th 1883. Texas became a state December 29th 1845. Seems to me, the University of Tennessee was around 51 years before Texas was even a state. UT is in Knoxville my man.
