@@blvckjack8661I grabbed the justice grand sword. Got it +10. Solid weapon. Use the holy buff you cast from catalyst. You don’t need any other spells. Max cap strength to 70-75, max health to 50-60, and get radiance and endurance to 30. The more you can swing the better. War Claw pendant, Bones ring, and Stamina ring. Runes posture damage on the sword is an absolute.

Which ones are you using?

People can hate on this game all they want you but can’t deny that the magic system is top notch in this game aside from a dedicated mana healing flask. I love how you have access to all your equipped spells by pushing one button instead of having to clumsily scroll through them all. Not very easy searching for the spell you want when getting destroyed by enemies all around you lol

You could also use the Empyraen Pendant and Orian Sorcerer ring respectively, if you want to increase holy and, holy sorcereries. Though that works great as well! Nice build overall and I didn't know about the star sword which looks awesome

i’ve been running roughshod through the game with something just like this build and let me say that in the lands of mournstead.. no stones go unturned and no cheeks go unclapped

This is more or less my current build, though I don't have the pendant or rings. I need to find those!

I keep forgetting about the L1R2 (LBRT) attacks lol. I just never think to use them. Anyway, great video as always!

I use that build as well, but I mainly cast Aura of Tenacity and Invigorating Aura and they stay active forever, since they only stop, if you out of mana. You basically unkillable

Well, I wanted to build my character to do something like this, but with the massive nerfs that hit us today, not sure it'll be even half as awesome now.

there are big Hammer with holy dmg it's really good for radiance build bcs that weapon scale strength and radiance

I prefer the Empyrean Pendant! I think, it gives 12% increase to all holy damage and fire defence. This means, that Pieta's Sword's damage is also increased by 12% and not just the power of spells. Additionally, more fire defence is especially nice for a pure Radiance build, since you already have a lot of Radiance and Wither defence.

i wish for more Accessories slots i cant play without Hallowed Triptych ;D

how did you get that bell head gear? also how do we find the sword that's similar to pieta's sword? that does wither?

Very good build. I'd like to bring up a 3rd and extremely powerful variation and that would be duel weilding two Pieta swords (here comes the busted part) Slotting in both swords as follows: increased rate of smite build up, increased holy DMG and increased posture DMG. Equipping these three runes on both swords is next lvl destruction. Stands up well on its own. Pair with spells for more diversity.

Now that you've done Radiance, Umbral, and Strength, how do you feel Strength holds up to the others? I typically do an unga bunga build for my first run, but was feeling like the combat favored faster weapons and stuck with a long sword. However, I just got the Sword of Skin and Tooth from your Strength video and am contemplating swapping to it.

More or less similar choice issues with me. I always love big boy build. But understanding the nature of this game, I invested some levels to Radiance. Now I am struggling whether I should use Pieta's Sword or the some holy grand swords, like Bloody Glory or Ravanger Gregory's Sword. I planned to use the heavy sword till the end but man, swinging the Pieta's sword is super satisfying.

In bramis castle everyone pre patch had a hell with 800 dmg strength, they had probably 0 issues with these builds so that I guess answers ur question. Like every boss got two shooted on my playtrough pure melee build is absolute trash compared to these

Your videos carried me all through Elden Ring. Now I heard you can play LotF as some kind of Radiance build mage. Is that true? I played as an astrologer in elden ring, as I am not good in souls game.

I bought the Ultimate Version and I want to play some kind of mostly caster, doing most from afar, but being able to get close and personal if needed. In Elden Ring I went the Astrologer route and ended up with two big ass swords. Wondering if I should start as Dark Crusader or as Orion Preacher, what is more noob friendly?

Any issues with dealing with enemies with holy resistance since that’s the only dmg Pieta’s sword does? I’m currently using two of them (my remembrance refreshed after helping a friend with the boss) and I’m not sure if I want to stick with this or respec for rosamund’s sword.

Cowboy Is the Hysteria Pendend better than the Empyrean Pendant ? It buffing holy dmg in Generell so it buffs spells and normal attacks. But i cant find a % on the Empyrean Pendant.

Hysteria is 20% but only spells, I want to say Empyrean was 10% but all holy so you'd be buffing your weapons but losing out on spells.

I usually do holy strength in DS, this the closest I can get?

Does this take into account the undocumented smite buildup nerf to Pieta's Sword? I havent tested it myself, but reportedly takes an absurd number of hits to trigger smite after the patch.

Use the rosamund sword and Gregory’s sword with a charged heavy you are getting 2k plus hp

What did you like playing better? Umbral or radiance build? I’m finishing up my first play through as a pure strength build using sword of skin and tooth and the iron wayfarer hammer but I want to either do pure radiance or an umbral build like your previous video and I can’t decide for the life of me on what to play next.

Umbral was more fun for a casual playthrough, Radiance was more fun for extreme aggression and burst.

If ur not a big fan of mana management etc, the umbral build is the way to go I literally finished whole game till abbey in 6-8 hour grabbing most upgrade chunks, dummire quest items and kill every boss along the way, I never needed mana even if I was half hp. Umbral build is crazy op

@@FightinCowboy sorry its the rune to get mana back(shield), I’m running both rings that increases sorceries damage with a shield with one mana regen rune. Is it better to keep both rings or swap one out for the regen?

Totally still really good since it swings so fast for smite build up, but for pure dmg bonking, bloody glory is pretty beast, but i like CB’s build better since it swings fast.

One Hand pieta sword is so fkn broken even against all the later Bosses beeing resistent to radiance it doesnt matter. Kinda weird this is the first Boss weapon you can get

I can't finish the exacters quest. Gave everything up to the rosaries, but he won't ask for the crusaders call. Anyone have any ideas?

Turn in 3 items > Kill derevela > turn in umbral tome > turne in wisp.

That quest can be completed even post-game, go find the thing you missed.

First u need to find 3 tablets,then give it to the blacksmith and upgrade your pieta sword to +4 at least if i remember correctly.After that all 3 runes slots should be unlocked.

Hey CB, could you please elaborate a bit more on the "fully finishing the quest" part? I paired Elianne's sword with Pieta's after killing Elianne, but haven't moved to NG+. With both I was not able to pull off the L1+R2 AoE you just demonstrated. What am I missing here?

Did you talk to pieta about the Odd Stone you find in lower calrath? That's one of the triggers.

This build looks like a .... real Ringer... ;-) Also I think the only Legit way to get 3 Nartun runes ... is to do NG0 restart twice... but by then you'd probably be 'done' with the game at that point.

4 max upgrade stones is terribly disappointing for trying different builds

I was hesitant on making a Radiance build because most of the spells don't seem all that good but now I'm even more hesitant because the 2 good spells are so broken it feels like those Dark Souls hackers that spawn flashy projectiles to insta-kill everything.

What that a light saber lol

I cant help but feel like once you get as powerful as he gets in these builds, the game is over and NG+ will be a joke.

I thought so but idk they are soo much more tanky in NG+ that I feel weak now still kinda flying through the game but the bosses and reaper are definitely way harder
