These guys were monsters. Even more monstrous than wrestlers today.. Kamala weighed between 380 to 400 pound, Big Daddy was picking this guy up like he was a feather weight. You can't believe how comfortably Big Daddy lifted Kamala who was billed around 400 pound then. . It was never really thought about because the crowed was just like Big Daddy picking up another big guy. No big deal... They make such a big song in dance about it these days. My opinion there is just no comparison. In physical strength with Big Daddy and modern day wrestlers. It's just how comfortable Shirley could pick a 400 pound guy up where modern wrestlers look like they're putting everything into it. Start going blood red in the face, veins popping, body shaking. Not all the time but most of the time. Big Daddy could pick up a 400 plus Guy on his shoulder and still sing easy easy to the crowd lol. Believe me when I say the power lifts John Cena, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar have done are just not that impressive to me. I mention them because they seem to get the most hype power lifts by fans. It's just not that impressive... Shirley Crabtree to me is in the debate of being the strongest wrestler of all time, to ever enter the ring. Not saying he is but he's definitely in the debate. I think 1979 to 1982 was his best years physically. Because he was definitely lifting those guys up between 79 to 82. He must have got himself in top condition between those years.

You can’t dismiss how strong John Cena is, he lifted big show and edge at the same time, that’s gotta be 650lbs at least
