i think the engine holds a mystery

I remember hearing a story told by Will Burt, that this engine hit a horse by black dog

Jamie, thank you for commenting on the story. It is a mystery so far, what happened and where. There must have been a serious accident, as one of the back wheels had to be replaced… Could you tell me where the ‘black dog’ is and who Will Burt was?
