Which is better? This or Descent Legends in the Dark?

this...descent is cool but the 3d terrain gets to be a pain...in my opinion

​@@robertcarlyle4946 From what I know, you only build it once and put it as is in the box, ready to pull out when required, but... ok. I was actually meant which is better gameplay wise...

IMO it’s a close call and would come down to preference. My wife and I LOVE both of these games. JIME has shorter play sessions and more campaigns to choose from. One full campaign can be anywhere from 15-25 hours depending on play speed and there are 6 in total if you get the expansions. Descent on the other hand has an “expansion” that is just a continuation of the first one. We get VERY immersed in this one and connected to our characters. We just started Act 2 but put in almost 50 hours of play time/reading story time for Act 1. However, individual sessions are twice as long and this game is almost a must to be able to leave it on a table set up to come back to. I personally still give the edge to JIME but I really love Descent and am beyond excited to continue Act 2. Last note, as the person who manages the games my life and I play, the app for Descent is phenomenal. JIME is amazing but that app just took it to the next level and really leaves nothing to question rules wise while playing!
