I Love Asylum films because I've always liked B-movies but this one was First Rate! If I was to criticize anything it would be the Title. A Very Good Movie!

I will never forget the day one of my Professors practically waltzed into class,dancing with his arms in the air like Zorba the Greek! He was practically glowing, laughing. He told us we would never, ever forget this day. They had discovered Homo Floriensis (Hobbits) There was also evidence that they lived fairly recently. Honestly, I really, really hoped that they would make a movie about this. I don’t care if it’s totally fantastic, I am so looking forward to seeing this. Would Professor Tolkien watch it? He certainly enjoyed a good tale, and he had a good sense of humor. So yes, I think he would. I am writing this during a commercial break, and I am impressed that they have hired people that live in the region around the island where Homo Floriesis was found.🥳

Sometimes little is more lol. I totally did like this! The fight scenes were comical but absolutely worth a wee watch for fun. Pass the time lol

Just watched this movie AGAIN on Pluto. Wasn't the greatest budget, but it is a film I couldn't stop watching. The monsters and beasts were good enough, but I enjoyed the acting, story, direction, and BEAUTIFUL scenery! I actually would love to see the main characters in something else. I HATE to compare this to Willow, but the acting was good in its own right! There was a sense of community in this film. Family, spirituality. I cared about what was happening to the Tree people as much as the characters did. I also enjoyed the references to Mother Earth, the natural healing, and cohesiveness of the story line. It was fun and kept me engaged. Thanks

@@m44r73n nope, didn't compare to LORings. I love the LORings and Hobbit machines. I enjoyed the diversity non-Euro culture. This movie had Fantasy, monsters, good guys and bad guys. Different values. Sorry that the main relevant reference you could relate to was your experience with LORINGS. So, basically I disagree with you which is OKAY. You have the right to have your own opinion. Be well.

@@m44r73n Fair enough, and I also get they are catering to their own market. But U still feel they did well with Their likely terrible budget, definitely out in the elements. The US does knock offs and terrible REPEATS of themes and story lines ALL THE TIME!!! Same costumes, props, characters, FX. ALL OF THE TIME. So, I'm certainly not disappointed with this group of producers, tech crew, and performers doing their own thing for their own culture and community to be able to relate to. They don't look like Euro Hobbits, they don't reference Hobbit culture, they don't use long bearded, blue eyed, tall standing Wizards/Mages from Western culture. They used people and references likely feom their part of the globe. So you can complain they 'steal ideas' from our Western culture but I think it's Great they have something they can relate to. So, I hear you but I'm still not mad at then. You watch what You can relate to, and they'll create what They can relate to on their side of the planet. Be well...again.

Fantastic movie, thoroughly enjoyed it, was something different. Watching from New Zealand.

At least they aren't all wearing clothes made from machine spun and woven cloth. The tree people wearing woven cloth, the meat eaters wearing leather, that's a lot better than most movies. It's nice when people at least try and do it right. I respect that.

In the beginning I ddnt like but when I finish this film its educational and speaks so much love and respect .

Tilk from SG1- ‘(Christopher Judge)’ Mountain people, Orcs Tree people, Halflimgs Giants, Humans A foreign dungeons and dragons. Most original and enjoyable. 😉👍 Would like this on DVD 📀

I guess this is intended for kids and made in, maybe, Indonesia? The acting is a little exaggerated. That said, this is well done and I enjoyed it. Christopher Judge/Teal'c is in it. I was always looking for Jack Samantha and Daniel, but no luck. Nah, still a good movie.
