Plane spotting on Lord Howe Island - the airport boundary is close to the runway and ideal for watching the arriving and departing QantasLink Dash-8 Q200's. Here's some videos I took in early December 2022. Apologies for the bad audio quality as the weather wasn't ideal.

Very cool! Thanks for dropping in and commenting. Glad I was able to capture your arrival and departure in the video. It was my first time visiting and I found the whole QantasLink operation there fascinating - from the tight weight restrictions to hairy approaches due to weather. It was a spotter's dream.

beautiful place! runaway is too short, and dash 8 takeoff on half!
