Awesome video Mark. Thanks! very helpful. I wonder if the lock can "move" the latch before you pull and shut the door. Some doors, like mine, don't shut unless you turn the key slightly. Did you experience this?

That’s not something I’ve come across before, I’d recommend dropping LOQED a message perhaps with a video to see if it’s compatible

Would you recommend the simpled or the LOQED?

Personally, I think the LOQED is probably the better choice because both the handle/new cylinder and the digital side of things have really good security credentials whereas only the digital side of the Simpled has security credentials which is a shame as I really like the fingerprint sensor on the Simpled

Thanks for this review. What I miss is the actual usage of the lock. Can you show how you lock/unlock, how smooth (or not) that goes. How much noise does opening/closing the lock make (I read somewhere that it's noisy).

Thanks, opening and and closing is done from the inside using the app or built-in knob and from the outside using the touch pad or again, via the apps. In terms of noise, I’d say it’s quieter than the Nuki but I’ll look at putting a short together over the next few days comparing the two and will post it

I'm also interested in knowing (not sure if you can record that) how quickly, arriving at your home (and not being at near the door yet), the lock notices that you are there and how quickly you can unlock/open the door. Like is it as quick as using a key or not. I'll be looking forward to your video!

I’ve got a full comparison between the Nuki, LOQED, Simpled and Yale Connexis coming up towards the end of the month. I’d say with the LOQED it picks up that you’re near to home pretty quickly and from tapping the screen to it connecting to your phone and unlocking is reasonably quick…the whole time is probably the same as reaching into your pocket for a key…for me the big advantage is less speed and more the ability to leave home without keys

So......LOQED or Nuki - which is best in your opinion?

That's a very difficult question! I do have an upcoming video where I compare the Ultion Nuki, Simpled, Yale Connexis and LOQED however don't manager to answer that in that video either! At the moment, as an Apple user I think the Ultion Nuki has the slight edge because of it's HomeKit support however, LOQED are hoping to launch support for HomeKit/Matter in the new year which might give it the edge as the 'tap to lock' functionality on the LOQED is great. (My current setup is the LOQED on my back door and Ultion Nuki on the front)
