im 1k kc and have 12 spears and 6 steam staves. idk seems okay. i dont really understand using melee prayer because he has a smite attack that hits thru so its kind of a waste of ppots. you can go in with dps gear on slayer task and pray magic, his melee hits are surprisingly weak without the YAAAARRRRR

Yeah I literally got the pet at 150 kc which I love the pet but it pisses me off because now I have reason to do greater demons

Since you like doing things in simple/chill ways, you take significantly less damage running full justi with praying mage. Kril's highest hitting attack is his prayer ignoring melee hit, and he can only do that if you pray melee. He also won't ever drain your prayer with that mage slam. Justi+ward of arceuus damage reduction can take a few max hits off krils melee attacks too, and it shreds minion damage. It's a really nice setup because you never really get chanced, so it's a lot more chill.

I feel like the ancient godsword is the best spec weapon for zammy. It is very underrated for pvming but it actually puts up more damage than any other godsword or claws. On task you can get those 80s + 25 wich is insane. In combination with a lightbearer and on task, you also get almost always 50hp heal per kill + good dps. You can go for over 30 kills without touching a single piece of food. Not even exagereting.

explanation for low hasta price: Zammy hasta was about 9m on TOA release and since it was the cheaper stab alternative to the 200m rapier it jumped up to 20m. As raid hype dies down and the fang is also replacing hasta in use, it went back to its original value and lost some more.

Like seriously why does fang rival an arc light against demons and even best the dhl against many different dragons? How is that balanced coming from an update that was supposed to introduce the new strongest mage option for pve it seems they missed the mark

Fang should not be good at corporeal beast, that was basically the only reason the spear retained value and now it’s been devalued for no reason. The fang is insane everywhere, it’s just more insane power creep added into the game

Zammy spear is still better than fang if you're speccing down Corp's def to 0. If it's not lowered Fang is better, but people usually don't fight Corp like that.
