Finally someone explained pressed powder too

And pressed powders were made so women can use powder on the go. But loose is usually more finely milled. So it would be ideal to use loose at home as your original setting powder and pressed as your touch up powder.

Gotcha, so what I PERSONALLY would be looking for is a pressed powder! Super helpful, thank you!

There's also binding agents in pressed powder that makes it appear not as fine as loose powder aka more cakey

Finishing powder means you put it on after you're done with your makeup like you don't put on anything after the finishing powder cause it's meant as a finishing/last step

They the same. only difference is that loose is loose pressed is in one chunk

why is it called setting powder if they all set the make up

I thought that shine on you was a glow. Btw we DONT need all the powders 😂😂😂 and most people can’t afford it

But if setting powder's only job is to set the makeup then why does it come in foundation colors? So if you use a different brand setting powder from liquid foundation then it kind of changes the color of your foundation? Sorry i'm thinking way too deep about this..😂
