Debra, I really enjoyed your style and freedom of creation. You are full of ideas. Great job!😉
ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOUR STYLE, and I'm signing up. I'm 65 and finally retired and want to get back into painting. This loose abstract floral style is exactly what I want. Just watching it gives me such joy. Love, love, love, India inks too. Thank you.
Your style is so beautiful and unique! Thanks for sharing!
“I just want quiet”….so glad to hear that. I need it!
I love your style! Thank you so much for the important tips and techniques!

Have fun in your new journey with watercolor! Just know it takes time, the more you paint the better you get!
I keep saying I'm going to try to paint the way you do, with tons of water, and then I chicken out! But I always love watching your videos. 😊

Wow....this is gorgeous! Thank you for sharing the process.
Ironically.. I started painting & always had too much water & paint. I’ve had to get control of that but found you recently… love your style.. your playfulness.. your transparency..
Hi Deb I'm new to your fb and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. I don't know if you would be interested in this but I found once I started using alot of water, which I need to to follow you, I was going through alot of paper towels so I have a puppy that used puppy potty pads and they work great. You can use them multiple times and they hold a enormous amount of water. I get them at dollar General and yo get 75 of them for $15.95, because you can use them more than once and they have a plastic back it saves me tons of money and I never run out of paper towels. Great video I'm going to buy some lace 😊 ty

Debra Lyn...this beauty has a French mystique to me...don't know why...the loose, but then the intricate techniques of your creation come together. Your fun of freedom to play with watercolors is amazing. Bokeh effect. Perfect! I'm a photographer. 😘

I am a silk artist. I was a watercolorist and pastelist, but once I found silk it all changed for me. Though I found my favorite medium I still struggle with "my" art. For so long all I've done was create art to sell. I've not been very successful because I am so unhappy with my art. One day I came across a question - if I could make art for me alone what would it be? I have no idea! And that question stays in my mind, in my heart and soul....what am I about??? I don't know?!? I'm 52 years old and I NEED to answer my question! I'm searching and searching and one thing that keeps coming up is abstract/ semi-abstract art. I have been a realist all of my life, but I have a desire to cover a room in canvas, grab 2 large paintbrushes, dip them in paint and just let loose! Have you experienced any of these things?
Simply beautiful! Thank you.

Its great to see a tutorial with watercolour and mixed media it's not often I see them anywhere. I love the books by ann blockley, carol robson and Jane betteridge, i find this tutorial is very similar to their style, its great to see mixed media techniques in action. It gives me lots of ideas. Loved the colours yellows, blues and greens go so well together. Thank you

Debra Lyn, your art is SO beautiful! I just found you and can't wait to watch more of your videos! You share some techniques that result in a look I have been longing (and trying unsuccessfully) to create. I am so grateful you have shared your art, how-to's and your SOUL with the rest of the world! You are a Light in the midst of a time when humanity is needing it most! Thank you.

Thank you so much Christeen! This message meant the world to me. I’m so glad you took the time to write to me. And i’m so happy that someone gets why we need to come together as artists, we need to fill the world with LIGHT and color. I agree that humanity is in need, our world is in a mess of trouble. God blessed me with this art and I’m transferring that to everyone else. I have a whole testimony about how it all came to be, and God was front and center in it all. That’s why if you listen to the very end when i close out my videos I always end with asking God to bless each and everyone of you, and I mean it from my heart to yours….be blessed….maybe even mightily blessed!!!! Thanks for turning in, it means so much. Xoxo DL
