Very nicely explained. One question.....If you set up a loop panel with four measures and your input vocal/instrument whatever is only three measures and you begin a second track loop, to track with the first loop, will the second loop begin at the first measure of the first loop? Or, can you trim the first loop to three measures? Confusing.....!?

I purchased the product on 08/09/2021, unfortunately I am starting now also with the help of the paper manual, I have never used these devices, I was able to record vocal loops, but unfortunately I am unable to record the rhythm loops present in rhythmic patterns. I have tried several times but the track present in the rhythm patterns does not remain stored in the recording track. I can't understand where I'm wrong. I kindly ask you if you can help me by explaining all the steps to record a Rhithm loop of rhythmic patterns in one of the tracks. Thank you.

You can record eith the metronome for the amount of time your beat should take and then stop the track and this will make all 5 tracks stuck at that time length if you are using default settings. Then you can hit record on a different track and it will automatically stop the loop and give you a clean transition. I'm sure there are easier ways but I never read the manual

Three weeks ago I stumbled on your „introduction“ to the RC-505, as I was looking for information on what kind of looper would be right for me. I watched and read a lot of material on this - before ultimately deciding to get the RC-505 in connection with a MIDI pedal board. Besides drums & percussion, I also play guitars, basses, sax, flutes, keyboards, harps etc. in studio and live settings, so controlling the looper by foot was an important aspect. Another important aspect was the complexity of the setup for live gigs. Would I need an extra mixer, guitar effects, voice effects etc., or could the RC-505 cover all that? With two weeks of experience with the looper and one successful live gig, I‘m sorry to have to say, that some of your statements are misleading, and some are even dead incorrect. For instance: The looper has a good working noise gate to prevent the build-up of unwanted noise. Once it‘s properly adjusted, it works pretty well. I realize there‘s a clear disclaimer at the beginning of the „lesson“. But that doesn‘t excuse the lack of time you spent exploring the device. I really appreciate and love your work with other instruments. But in this case I would be thankful for a profounder approach. 🙂
