I think it was cause it was from the original idea for the Looney Tunes show. Search up Laff Riot. Casa de Calma was intended to be part of it.

The voice of Granny in the show was legendary voice artist, June Foray who happened to be the longest recurring voice of Granny having first voiced the character in the shorts since 1955 up until her passing in 2017. June also is best known as the voice of Rocky the Flying Squirrel and Natasha from the _The Rocky & Bullwinkle Show_ and Cindy Lou Who from Chuck Jones’ _How the Grinch Stole Christmas_ TV special.

18:13 - The name of the simpleton Big Cat who was tasked to guard the Tasmanian Devil but unfortunately unlocked the cage is named Pete Puma. He was a semi-recurring character in a few Bugs Bunny shorts directed by Robert McKimson (who also created the Tasmanian Devil and Foghorn Leghorn) as Bugs nemesis. Pete’s voice was voiced by Stan Freberg who similarly based the voice on comedian Frank Fontaine's "Crazy Guggenheim" character while using the inhaled chortling sound _"Ihhhhhhhh!"._ In _The Looney Tunes Show_ Pete is voiced John Kassir (The Crypt Keeper).

Looney Tunes episode 7 is my favorite episode in season. Bugs and Daffy were really themselves in the classic Looney Tunes.

Casa de Calma was the first one produced while the tone of the show would be completely different as well as the dynamic between Bugs and Daffy.

I tell you, episode 7 of Season 1 was like a classic Looney Tunes cartoon I watched. This gave me Classic Looney Tunes vibes. The women was based off of the Voice Actress who played Black Widow in Marvel, Scarlett Johnson. Also, Daffy may be dumb, but he actually did something right for once in his life. And that was to warn Bugs about the Tasmanian Devil in the other episode.

Fun Fact: Casa de Calma was the pilot episode.

Taz does make a decent pet, once he is tame

To be fair in the first ep, Bugs IS also a Movie star!

I love how speedy was able to tame Poochie just by flicking his hand at him

@habiba-wp1hn They don’t necessarily have to do a Nickelodeon show as a follow up? Fairly Odd Parents gets really bad after a few seasons while Phineas and Ferb was fun and consistent the whole was through with movies and specials.

The first episode was extra looney tuney, compared to the rest.

Sonic break the sound barrier every time you do a boost on the games and on Sonic X he can do a Sonic Boom

There actually is a looney tunes racing game, two in fact. One for PS1 and the Gameboy Color called Looney Tunes Racing and the other called Looney Tunes Space Race which was playable on PS2, N64, and the Dreamcast.

That bodyguard barely gotta say anything to be the funniest character in the casa de calma episode. Got the man going underwater, on a jet ski and up the rope just to punch Daffy is gold. Remembered crying laughing while I first watched that 🤣🤣

It's mostly gators in golf courses in Florida. And to think, I read a book by Mary Higgins Clark in high school a year before hearing her name in "Casa de Calma." 8:00 😂😂😂 12:00 - 12:55 😂😂😂 12:57 - 13:43 😂😂😂 14:25 😂😂 23:10 - 23:32 Who else besides me see Taz as a misunderstood sweetheart?

That first episode is "Casa De Coma", sometimes called "Casa De Calma". it was apparently made before the writers and studio had nailed down what they truly wanted to do with the series. Many people sing its praises, but honestly, I'm really glad they changed course and did something different for the rest of the show. Between all the duck torture porn, and both Daffy and Bugs being heavily based on some of their most insufferable incarnations. (in my opinion) I don't know, I just don't care for it.

Yeah, Casa De Calma's the leftovers from Laff Riot that got recycled back into The Looney Tunes Show. I think the golf lead-up and sequence are TLTS original, though. The writing, art and animation during those bits are much more in line with this series usual style.

Fun Fact: Before The Looney Tunes Show became the way it is now, the writers was trying to create a Looney Tunes series, which is more like the classic Looney Tunes. And the Casa De Calma episode was gonna be one of the episodes.

The casa del mama is both one of my favorite and least favorite episodes for being the closest to classic looney tunes in the Looney Tunes Show
