The work is not hard putting beads is the most tiring part you can choose a simple design and it would be easy but I was stupid enough to stay 12 h to make a starry night one the temple I got it from internet but I also maklde some row changes I love how it turned out. I want to make another one with some new colores but I'm have to start it on summer holidays because it makes my neck and eyes hurt

Little tip although a bit late. If you are going for good beads. Miyuki rounds, Preciousa Ornela rocailles.I have not used them personally but Dynamites are also recommended by others. Toho rounds are also good but I found them to be a little less round than the others mentioned. Ive also used Guterman previously but their selections was not broad enough for my taste. Just make sure you pick the same size unless any pattern you use states otherwise. When beading something I usually stick with the same brand since there might be small difference that are not always obvious until later. Including size. As for size. 11 is the one most commonly used and thus has a wide range of color choices. Hope that was of help to you😊

i actually use 2.6mm perler beads! They are plastic, but they have very consistent sizing

I know your comment is from a month ago but hope this helps!👍 You can use reg sewing thread. It's way cheaper. I recommend nylon and make sure it doesn't stretch. You can also pull it through beeswax so it won't tangle or knot as easily. If you have extra cash or want to make sure it's extra strong I'd use Fireline or Wildfire specifically made for jewelry making. It's braided and waxed. The cost is typically $10 for a 50-55yd spool but it's worth it in my opinion.
