A women would never know the status unless they talk to a person, they won't talk to the person if the person doesn't have the looks and height. So I call BS to the status answer, they want it all!

I want more men to be asked what’s more important, career or family, and I want more women to be asked why they would even know about a man’s status unless they started chatting to them because of their looks. Also “GENERALLY SPEAKING” often means “please refer to societal expectations, not to your experience.” What was is not what is. Let’s stop the old tape player, it ain’t the thing anymore. Let’s just give it a rest and be free to imagine a life as we want it.

"I want more women to be asked why they would even know about a man’s status unless they started chatting to them because of their looks" women rarely approach men to begin with and are rarely going to instantly reject a man who approaches them politely so i don't see that there is any looks barrier for a man getting a woman to chat to him. status, as i would define it, is your reputation preceeding you. if you don't know who a man is before you begin talking to him then he does not have status. if status is code for income then you're right that is hard to determine.

The questions are good but he can be too leading. Surely he has an understanding of biology and animal mating selection? He never talks of feelings, falling in love, being driven by the connection between you both. He just talks in a quite negative brutal way and seems to reduce it down to money/status in order to have a good looking woman. Almost like prostitution but not quite. Like there's no love in his world.

Woman... Money does not make anyone happy. Guys that like making money, like to invest and if there is a girl, he loves to buy things for her.. In the end, no amount of money makes anyone happy. You can see by look up how may musicians and actors who are successful and have money, who have taken their life. Also, woman if you want the commitment of a man to be husband.. do not move into together and mash your finances like you are a married couple. To many woman and men make this mistake today and end up finding out that they are not really for each other, money becomes an issue and the bachelor like may not have ended yet.

Generally speaking they want status. My wife married me when I just lost my job & was practically broke & at the time we were both from the opposite side of the tracks. I didn't want to get married, but I knew she loved me, she was intelligent & a go getter. We're are married almost 40 years now. Our only regret was we had no children. I can honestly say she has been a true partner throughout our life together. I repeat PARTNER. She always worked, was never a burden & if I ever needed anyone to stand next to me to help me fight for or about anything she was & still is more then anyone that person I would want by my side. In fact she's a better fighter then me with a quick mind. We've had plenty of ups & downs & numerous fights, but I know I've found my soul mate. Status & money are important especially with the greed that exist today, but you want in a man or a woman is a stand up PARTNER in every respect most of all & a friend at your side always. Thats really hard to find in a man or a woman. If you do find it cherish it, it's a rare gift.

If your in NYC, it's all about the money and the energy, money is energy if you don't have live energy you don't have money, if you don't have money you don't have the energy, you understand?

About the last women speaking at the end of this video. Let me guess, she feel like she wasted her time becaue she wanted boyfriend to propose to her, but he never did. When it comes to men and women, that usually means that she found the guy she wanted to marry, meaning he had his finance together and most likly was decent looking, however, she didn't have what he was looking for in a future wife and was most likly using her for sex until someone else comes along. It could be that he thinks that she is only with him for his finacial status, so he decided to use her for sex. Women love to hide the fact that they are with a guy because of his fincial status and hoping he think she is his dream girl. As a man, base on what I know about women, I probably would have done the same thing boyfriend probably did. It's all one game people. Men and women are just trying to get the best mate possible even if they have to use each other or break each other hearts!!!
