Some of them do not even try to make sense. Like "I was born in 54 and was 15 in 85 !".
I lived in Portland for several years. I was isolated, depressed and lost. I would drive Lyft on top of my day job just to make rent. 3 am, the rides slow to a trickle, so I would drive up the hills and look over the industrial area, listening to the sounds of the docks in one ear, music in the other. Just taking in their slow movements and the dwindling activity of those either starting their workday or counting down the minutes until they go home. The river seemed to slow to a trickle, like time standing still with the lights of downtown behind the bridges serving as the back drop. These still moments minutes felt endless. It served as my connection to a city I felt disconnected from. I knew those out there at this time of night were like me, exhausted but pushing on. This video perfectly captures the feeling in those moments for me, thank you for that.

La banda vestron vulture tiene muy buenas melodías. Llegue a un punto de no retorno. Me e intentado suicidar. Pero de no ser por la música, en especial esa música. No seguiría vivo. Aveces la vida es demasiado pesada para una mente qué ha cargado con mucho. Pero buscar salvaguarda en ti mismo. Te dará ese motivo para seguir viviendo que tanto se anhela. Saludos
The first 40 seconds of this video invoked something within my soul. My dog just died last month and I’ve been trying to get used to sleeping alone again. She was always in bed with me begging to get under the blanket to sleep next to my feet, I swear I can feel her sometimes. I got her when I first moved into my current apt- 7 years ago. She graduated HS and college with me, was there during my chemo treatments as well as after, when I needed to cry the pain away. Now I lay in bed, feeling phantom pains of her. I sometimes find myself reaching for her but instead, I am met with tears as well as a broken heart that contains bittersweet memories. Life sucks sometimes; other times, not. I find a peculiar beauty in that. We are all but fickle creatures, a cosmic joke to the universe. So odd and so melancholic to ponder upon but also so so incredible..

Before many years i lived in the last floor of concrete house in Prague ,13 floor. Under basement. In this times i sniffing shooting and smoking lots of metamfetamin with the same feelings like this music makes. In the deep nights i watch everithing from the balcony. Sick i always loves good music everithing about punkrock
I used to do this often when I was 12 (now I'm 23). I had a terrible childhood and one thing I craved was a place where to hide and feel safe. I remember I was in this house (I moved from different houses many times) in which I lived only 2 years and there was this balcony with a beautiful view. I was very sad at that age and I used to look at the lights afar and fantasize about flying away with someone. Now I'm different but every time I look at the sky in the night and see the lights or all the stars I start to slip into a nostalgic feeling, so deep I want to cry. It's painful but somehow I like it (sorry my bad english)

But anyway it gets better trust me just stay strong and fight through it. Because believe me many people told me it gets better but I didn’t want to hear and believe them, but eventually it did get better, it might take a while but it gets better, trust.

I’m up in the San Gabriel mountains right now looking down at the city
You sit on the bonnet of your car, joint in hand, looking over the small town you grew up in from the highest hill. You feel a deep sadness observing the town that forgot about you. The memories come flooding back. All the mischief you and your best friends used to get up to, the girls whose hearts you broke and the girl who broke yours. The parties, the drama, the drugs, alcohol and music. A smile begins to weakly stretch across your face as the nostalgia kicks in. Those years in the golden hue of youth you hold so close to your heart, the days you thought would never end. You close your eyes and feel the cold wind washing over your face, taking a deep breathe. You throw the joint over the edge of the hill, get back into your car and drive off into the night, music full blast. Rolling the windows down to dry your tears, accelerating more and more. Where do i go from here? You think to yourself. Follow the road to home or disappear…
Lost my job. Lost my home. My fiancé and my friends are all I got - and that's okay. I blast this and drive on through the night looking for the solution to it all.

Walking the streets of Detroit as a teenager, this playlist captures the vibes I felt back then. Before smartphones and walkman was the only way to vibe on the move. Now I look out in my small town I call home as a grown man. This still hits hard, stay strong bros.
For some reason the low quality picture of a city with the sort of "blurry" lights just gave me the weirdest feeling of nostalgia...
Beautiful how music is able to hurt you yet at the same time makes you feel better.

From Vacaville, as a bay area outskirt dweller I somewhat relate! That cold night air and the lights on the water. People can say what they will about California but I know that the region we live in is one where some of the most beautiful sights are had and the greatest memories are made.
Thanks for introducing me to some really interesting post-punk music. Some Bauhaus/Sisters of Mercy/The Cure/Joy Division influences there to hear ahh the soundtrack of my life.
I'm 18 years old and I live in Brazil. Right now I'm listening to this playlist while I'm on top of my house watching the sky. I can't describe in words how amazing this feels hahahahaha.

theres this spot at a place i used to go to every week to hangout with my friends that overlooked the city skyline, at that time was depressed and in a slump and wasnt mentally here and often fantasized about committing yk at the spot and almost followed thru with my plan one day, now I work there and see the spot almost everyday and always think about that time in my life and how much ive changed. i dont really know where im going in life, idk if i have a purpose, idk if im gonna follow thru with my plan or if im gonna be happy. im just riding the wave of my hectic life and letting it play out, not forcing anything and im content with it.

Im 487,832 years old and this music takes me back to the days when lord Enki and lord Alalu were overlooking the digging of the Euphrates and Tigris trenches in Mesopotamia. Back when those two great rivers first gave birth to civilisations!! It was arduous work, every night, after we clocked out, we marched back to the garden of Eden to the rhythm of these chants!! Giving solace to our souls!!!
