Love a cavalier gsi, always wanted a turbo myself. Still look good even today

Had a cavalier gsi 4x4 in silver mid 90’s…. Loved it.

4x4 GSi version was probably the last cool Car Vauxhall made. Proper nice looking cars

I had a1986 ex police white 2,0 8v astra GTE back in 98/99! Absolutely loved it. Had the digital dash and was pretty quick for back then. Strange thing happened to it tho! This strange orange substance started dribbling out of its arches and sills. The MOT man wasn't keen on said substance, so she had to go 😔

yeah that might have impressed me 30 years ago but sadly not nowadays.

What a great car thay were - we broke about 14 or 15 of them in the early 00s- all were either rotten, wrecked or engine gone - interiors bumpers and engines went to good homes but should have bought a good one then as they were really small money - Thanks s mill Adam great video !!

Had a mk3 Sri on turbo wheels and a mk2 130 . Loved em

Used to do window cleaning as a kid, the boss had one of these kept mint. loved it I did, was rapid.

Loved these cars back in the day. My mate had one! But because I got a rover apprenticeship I went the 220gsi nasp and 420gsi turbo route 😀 . Fantastic video Adam 👏👏

Remember the days of looking through Max Power at the different alloy manufacturers . God I went through so many sets on so many cars . TSW Stealths were my go to alloy for any RS Turbo I had . League, Momo, 100+, Wolfrace the list goes on. I really do miss those days

A lad I knocked about with had a red mk2 fester, on my life he squeezed either 16 or 17” stealths on it The same car he used a screwdriver to get in and start 😂 I had a Mk1 golf at the time with 15” Hokenheim fakes on and they looked big 😂 Yep the max power days 🥰

Stealths always looked shite but you needed to put them on for street cred.

What a old classic. Takes me back to when I was younger god I'm only 42.

I had an identical one from 94-99! Love it

I had a red top GSi and loved it to bits. I was gutted when she failed MOT and the tester said rot had got into the rear axle. I was planning on going to Santa Pod the next time. But the engine went into another car and I've not been back to Santa Pod since.

Had 3 cavaliers but never got a gsi, still love these.

Looks mint that, nice one ....... Had a 4x4 years ago ... Would love to have another one

Remember when anyone who had a GSI would buy an additional GSI badge and stick it on the front bumper 😂 Any TSW Venoms will be old now and imo would ruin that car. If you can find a set, get some white 17" Compomotive MO5's on 👍

Such a nice motor . I had a g reg burgundy one and it would sit at 140 on the motorway . Should be remade i reckon they would still sell ok today

have to say i am a big cavalier fan had 3 of them back in the 90s, loved them motors. Had a 2.0 16v that would run out of Speedo 😎

Had a white GSI then a black cav turbo..turbo was 280 BHP. 18's bk299. Fmic. 60mm lowered.. was a beast in its day... wish I still had it😥

Still love the cavies had a gli glsi and a gsi

Used to like my 2.0 cdi booted cavalier. Was quite quick as I remember even though it was only th 8v. 👍👍👍

I couldn’t agree more Adam, TSW Hockenheim’s were the best choice on the cav’s back in the day, I bought a brand new set for my gsi in 1996, Biggest regret is selling the car around 10 years for next to nothing (including C20LET conversion) 🤦‍♂️

I had that exact car. Great motor. Just lower with the wheels anthracite grey.

Venoms and 3 spokes happy days had some blades on my GTE Cab that had a valver conversion I was the kiddie until I realised it was made up of nicked bits lol !

allesio mondials (the 5 spoke one's) are the wheels for that car. nice cav by the way.

That light under the bonnet! Mint! Needs turbo wheels

The venoms would ruin it for me a nice set of standard Sri/gsi wheels 👌

I actually bought that Cav gsi off you Adam. £1500 I paid for it if I remember rightly. Used to drop off the clock at 140, the needle used to just bounce lol. This was on a private road of course 🤪

@@philtucker1224 Nah mate, unfortunately I sold it to a friend and after a few years the strut tops were starting to go and he stupidly scrapped the car. Was 1 of the most reliable cars I've owned. At the time of owning it there was less than 50 4x4 versions registered with the dvla and only a handful in that colour, probably only a handful in total left now 😔

I would 5 stud it and fit Astra Mk4 GSi snowflakes, and the Recaro seat's from the Vectra b GSi 😉

Love cav turbos

I have a mk2 gte it's not been on the road for 10 years or more. Twin 45s high lift cams and that's all. It's gonna need some serious welding

Just sensible but reversible mods, so it can be sold in easy, best idea nowdays. Good one of them is hard to find, so is the leather, can't remember the last time I saw GSi leather going. Tidy looking bcar.

On the white Sri Cav is TSW Stealths 17’s 👍

I'm sure I read about a company that was recreating all them old TSW's etc... I might be wrong though, would look nice with some 18" Venoms. I had some on an Escort Convertible looked amazing :)

My favourite vauxhall is a cav gsi or turbo.

Gsi 2000 H290PWE only car I was upset selling, mine remove fuse 19 disengages 4 wheel drive bounght mine at just 3 years old 23 when I bought thought I was the bollox bought a gte 16v about 2000 just to gy it out of my system.

Good cars had a k reg vauxhall cavalier turbo 4x4 Westminster blue bought it brand new

Awesome car guys I had one identical it lost me my license back then but it was worth it as I had such a good time in it. Only got caught by police helicopter 😂
