Gorgeous. I had used eggshells on a sculpture I did some years ago. I was so sick of eating eggs in order to get the shells and didn't eat them for a long time after! This table turned out really beautiful. Well done.

Wow! This turned out beautiful! Being a member of yours more than pays for itself with all of yours and your experts' advice. Your members always have answers or ideas that we all share with each other as an art community and family. Absolutely gorgeous results! Love that you used eggshells but I can only imagine how much time it took to place them down! You definitely have to keep that one just because of the amount of love you put into it and it's beauty as well. I bet you had to mix small amounts of resin at a time to do this due to it curing up as you placed the shells! What a great video! Good job!

Steve, this one really is a GAME CHANGER!! I think those colors make is look like dragon scales. But imagine green or blue!! It really is quite cool and unique! Steve, If you were to do this again, take an old bottle & use as a rolling pin to flatten the shells, it might be a little faster.

I've used this idea to make jewellery embedded small pieces in resin. I found that they are bubble grabbers so need coating or immersing them in resin. I've also used them coloured with alcohol markers with each colour in a different silicone tray then spray with poly spray. It looks like micro mosaic when you make the pieces. Time consuming but therapeutic!! Hadn't though about chameleon colours. Got me thinking about revisiting egg shells!!! Great video Steve!! ❤

Great idea, i've actually done this before but with jewellery. I was doing an HND on Jewellery Design & Silversmithing about 10 yrs ago and we had a project where we had to choose a material that wasn't metal and make some jewellery pieces with it. I chose paper and spent a week cutting up paper and sticking it together with PV in layers, then when it was still a bit pliable I could shape it. I wanted to decorate it with someone and thought I would try using eggshells just like this, it turned out great, especially the bangles
