Each year the White House, home to the US President and his family, is decorated in an incredible way. The East Wing is adorned with decorations, lights, trees, and special surprises.
But to find out more about the history of Christmas at the White House and what makes it so special, EWTN reporter Colm Flynn gets a VIP tour from Stewart McLaurin of the White House Historical Association. McLaurin brings Colm inside the executive mansion to show him the beautiful display, as well as one of the centerpieces of the decorations, the Christmas nativity scene.

I was able to visit the White House for Christmas during the Clinton era. I even went to the Christmas party at the vice presidents house! The Gores at the time. They were all lovely.

I don't care who you're, but I do care the Christianity in the US who has been under persecution by the leftists (including the two names you mentioned so proudly) until now. Under Obambi even the "Merry Christmas" phrase was replaced by "Happy Holiday", but has been reinstated by Trump. Now under Biden's woke ideology, and if they keep doing that, one day you won't be able to see the Christmas in WH again, forever.

What a surprising thing to say considering the rampant commercialization of the season. Perhaps, you should write a complaint to your local newspaper. Also, be sure to take down your Christmas tree in your home, if you put one up. Since you feel that strongly, I’m sure you have no decorations in and around your home.

There should be more decorations outside for public to see from the fence far away. Wreaths on windows are not enough but so much spent on the inside.
It’s not the east wing. It’s the main mansion state floor and east wing colonnade. The actual east wing is where all the First Ladies offices are and not actually a part of the main mansion apart from the colonnade.

There is no need to be biased and compete to see who decorated the White House better for Christmas. In the end, all former and current First Ladies do this for the sake of the people. Just enjoy the beauty. Although, in my opinion, this year, when so many Americans are struggling to make ends meet due to the flow of illegal immigrants, foreign wars support, the huge amount of money spent on decorating the White House could have been spent for better use, such as giving Christmas gifts in the form of food baskets for all very low-income families.
