The proportion of elderly people is increasing, and in 2030 there will be almost 22,000 elderly people in our municipality. The Conservative Party wants all older people to have the opportunity for an active and social life. Drammen Høyre's mayoral candidate, Kjell Arne Hermansen, is concerned that everyone should be well taken care of when they grow old.
Høyre wants to introduce user choice in the home services, so that you can be the boss in your own life and choose between municipal, non-profit or private service providers. Then you get more freedom of choice and the freedom to choose what suits your individual needs best.
