Thank you everyone for taking the time to watch this video. Longwood Gardens is the best Christmas display I have ever seen. There is also some amazing history about this property. The Lenape Indians used to live on this land. Several of their artifacts have been found on the property. In 1700 it was purchased from William Penn’s commissioners. Slaves that escaped from the South used the property as part of the Underground Railroad. In 1906 the property was purchased by a member of the DuPont family in an attempt to save the trees there. The transaction was managed by the countries first woman lawyer. Wow, that’s a whole lot of awesome history. Enjoy the video. Happy holidays. 👍

Did you also have a tripod or was it a steady hand? I have the iPhone 13 and never would have imagined it’s capable but of course, it’s your professional background that made it possible! Thank you. I appreciate the wonderful comment. We said the same thing about the time it must have taken to display all these lights. I’m sure they had a large crew to do it. I still couldn’t figure out how they got the lights on parts of those trees. It would even be difficult with a ladder or a crane. Have a great 2024.

That is true. I used my iPhone 15 pro max to record everything except the very first shot in the car. That was done on a GoPro on a tripod. Aside from the first shot, everything was handheld. I think I asked someone to record me and my girlfriend only twice. The iPhone 13 is still a great phone. It has an excellent camera like most smartphones today. I’m not an expert and I don’t have a professional background in this. I just try to put out the best content I possibly can. Also, I work with a bunch of guys that can be ruthless at times. I knew I needed to put out good content or I’d be the butt of so many jokes from them. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and leave two awesome comments. Have a great day.

SHARON SHNEYER, Hi Craig, glad I discovered your channel. I'm in Philadelphia, and many years ago our public transit agency, Septa used to have "Rambles", where they would take you to a place and leave you there for a few hours. I have such fond memories of Longwood at Christmas time, and the conservatory with poinsettias in every color. The laws changed long ago, so no more trips to Longwood. It's a shame that there can't be some sort of shuttle service from the Wilmington Amtrak station (has commuter rail as well) at least during the holiday time, even if you have to pay a fee.

Wow seriously wow!! This was a great place to share so many lights and I thought the lit up water features were a nice touch along with them providing little fires to get warm. What a magical feeling to be strolling down and seeing how each trees are decorated! I love that the display is right in the garden. The lights bring out the vibrant colors of the plants even more and makes it look even more festive! I love that the display extends outdoors and you can see the reflections off the water. Wow, wow 😮🤩 Longwood Gardens Enchanted Christmas is amazing. I loved the lights by the boardwalk and the lights that followed the root system by the tree. Is this near Pittsburgh? If so, my nephew moved there recently and we will have to visit him around Christmastime to see this display. Music was very fitting and magical. Merry Christmas you two! 🎄✨

Thank you very much John. I’m very pleased with the way this turned out. I get all my music from epidemic sound. The second half of the video isn’t even Christmas music but it fits well and sounds like it is. I choose my music by listening to different songs and save some that I like for possible future use. I also make sure that scenes are cut to the music beat and they both flow smoothly together. Happy holidays.
