[Longplay] SNES - Aladdin [100%] (4K, 60FPS)
Ойындар
Played by xRavenXP (me)
This is the longplay of Aladdin, action and platform game released in 1993 for Super Nintendo, along with other games of the same name for other platforms, which are completely different, despite having the same theme and plot.
This game was produced in the 90's, at a time when Capcom and Disney were partners and released games for the consoles of that period. This version was produced by Capcom, while the Mega Drive version was made by Virgin Games.
In this game, the player controls the main character Aladdin through several stages taking place throughout the city of Agrabah. Within each stage, Aladdin must defeat foes by jumping on them or disorienting them by throwing apples while avoiding dangerous obstacles to save Jasmine.
In the stages it is possible to collect green and red gems (which are the most important), extra lives and hearts to increase the life of the character, in addition to a flying beetle that guarantees a bonus roulette. In addition to having internships in the flying carpet.
This was one of the games I rented most in my childhood in multi-game cartridges, has very acrobatic movements and very well done action. It's an excellent game, from the golden age of the Capcom/Disney partnership. The whole video was collecting all the red gems. Hope you like it.

The Snes library in general is solid proof that for certain game genres like 2d sidescrollers and JRPGs, the graphics really just didn't need to improve, they'd reached their peak 30 years ago

This is basically the Aladdin edition of Street Fighter 😂
Gaming today might have reached a different level, but these games that we all played back then will always remain at the top. The graphics, the music, the creative levels, small details like Abu following Aladdin, people watching out of windows etc. A pure feel of we being in Agrabah surrounded everytime ! Pure nostalgia.. 😊

Ah yes, the gamer schedule of our childhoods. Wake up and play before school, come home and have a "15 min snack in front of the TV" before homework/dinner, then get the major bits in till bedtime. Then came Fridays... head straight from school to Blockbuster, rent a couple games, go home, order pizza, and vooooooosh~ Then get every bit of gametime in over the weekend. Sunday night; last call, grind those games out!

@@nsasupporter7557 It really wasn't, outside of it's animations, it was a mess of level design, unclear paths through stages, places you had to jump to that you couldn't tell were backgrounds, or places you could land on. Not to mention drab colors, and unlike this version, didn't follow the movie all that well. Aladdin in the movie technically did not use a sword to fight, he used his wits. In this version Aladdin would use wits, whether hitting enemies with apples, or jumping on them to get away, and follows the movie far more closely. I'd trust Capcom game design over the designers behind the Genesis game as Capcom had an excellent track record of being great during the 16 bit era. The Genesis version gets far too much praise, it's design is absolutely atrocious, as a lot of western made games tended to be in those days. I own both, I'd play this version any day over my Genesis version. Give me stuff like Alisia Dragoon if I must play my Genesis, the Genny version of this to me, is just a collection piece.

@@Bloodreign1 dude, I don’t care what you say… That all sounds like a personal issue. I had absolutely no problems with this game at all. I had an absolute blast with this game way more than I ever did with the crappy SNES Aladdin game. And part of that has to do with the fact that you had a sword and could throw apples, SO WHAT if that wasn’t in the movie! I’ve argued that same boring argument before with clowns like you who like the SNES game better. It’s a freaking video game and it made it more fun that way, to me.
Pure nostalgia. I remember when my 7th grade teacher (unbelievable, I know right) let me borrow this game in exchange for Street fighter 2 Turbo. Thats how I came across this classic and that’s how cool she was.
I played this game for sooo many hours over several years when I was younger and I don't honestly recall ever beating the snake... maybe?... idk it was SOO difficult though. Watching this video makes it seem so easy though lol. This is such a nostalgic video!
