God this was honestly, it was a different kinda game, its atmosphere and music reminded me of Ape Escape, but it was something else. I really loved playing this game, its funny I found out about it from a Nintendo Power magazine.

I saw a gif of this game with a caption “me omw to the lawnmower sale”. I’ve been crying for an hour.

Nothing but nostalgia.. my old disc got scratched unfortunately but it’s nice to see a gameplay of one of the best games on the GameCube. Thank you for the gameplay, much love. ❤️

I use an emulator called dolphin and use Vimms Lair for the Iso’s it works great to bring back some childhood memories back and get that nostalgic feeling. Try it out 😄

Absolute memories! I remember renting this game at a Hollywood Video store back in 2004 with my grandma during that time and I had a blast on my GameCube back when I was 9 going on 10!

You know a game has made an impact on you when you haven't played it in well over a decade and yet every single level of the stupid whale world makes you go "Oh no, I remember this one." Especially the Launcher one. That one stick out in my mind the most.

An absolute gem of a game. I played it so much by myself and with family. The story mode, the music, the sound effects, the gameplay, the multiplayer...it was all so top notch. The reason I came to this video is because I downloaded the remaster os SMB1 and 2 on the Switch. I was playing it and it felt foriegn and off. Now that I am watching this I see why. THE GAMECUBE GRAPHICS ARE BETTER! WHAT!? The remaster looks worse and it's music is not the same. The menus are bland conpared to the stylized 3-D menus of SMB2, PLUS they removed the original cutscenes and replaced them with a "comic book style" version...which if you never played the original it is incomprehensible and boring.

Watching you play Monkey Golf was so funny

The Space Colony reminds me of Terra Venture from Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. The music in the colony is also relaxing.

Ive had this game since christmas 2010 Exactly 11 years ago from tomorrow!

I reordered this game again and man it's still fun, this game, soundtracks was also done by the same people who did yakuza, which reminds me the soundtrack led me to yakuza series

The multiplayer to this game is fire 🔥

So weird because I remember hoppers and the holes were in lush green levels for me😊

I thought of a cute Super Monkey Ball game idea. One that you can also play as hamsters, pigs, rabbits, puppies, kittens, and even possibly penguins; along with the four monkeys. I also think that if they were to do that make all the non monkey animals unlockable.

Does anyone know where that mode is where you race few rings that fly along the track? Theres an easy, medium, and hard ring, but i cant find what game they were in...

(True story) So my brother had a GameCube for like 7 years maybe. I was like three when my brother SOLD IT. now we had no GameCube. We still had the games but not the actual console. (Seven years later) I’m walking to my room and I here Mario party 5 music. Wth? I opened the door and I saw something beautiful… A FREAKING GAMECUBE. My brother had bought a new one and we played it every day since until a week later.😂

this is odd in the story mode the Inch worm stage in a part of the volcano world but in videos other people have done the inch worm stage is a part of the theme park world how is that even possible that this stage is in 2 different worlds?

That’s just my way of distinguishing between an old and newer upload of the same game. There’s another SMB video on our channel recorded with composite cables whereas this one uses component. The quality is quite significant. Eventually I’ll remove the lower quality versions as well as the [HD] tag from the newer version

Though I never played it myself (I'm starting to get into the videos), I think what brings people to these games is the amount of challenge there is as you play and the satisfaction when you finally beat it. Probably the style of the game, too.
