It's Sarina, not Serina. "SA" stands for delicate, "RI" stands for rationality, and "NA" stands for spring plants. Selina is not a Japanese name

Hi! I just discovered Your channel and I must say that Your reaction and analyze of this episode is something I haven't witnessed before! Narrative therapy is really fascinating to me and I didn't even know it, until You reacted to my current favorite anime Oshi No Ko. Thanks to that You have a new subscriber from Poland -me. 🇵🇱😊 I always like to look on my life from many different angles and I never knew about Jahari Window! This therapeutic tool is very interesting to me and I have a new way to look at my life thanks to You Brady! I'm really grateful for a new way to look at my life, because of You! I also like to point out favorite moments from each episode. When it comes to this massive episode this line hits like none other to me - 3:41:44 "As the two of you grow up, I want to be there to see it."- it could lead to Ai's reaincarnation, but for now it's just my coping mechanism to this traumatic scene.😂

2:10:25 .Watching this while doing a 12hr grave shift as a security guard that sits in an office for 24 hours on the weekend, I feel like I can’t rest even when I get home at 7 am I usually have to take something to finally shut my brain off, sometimes I’ll work out or eat a hot meal to naturally do it. Unfortunately alcohol in small amounts like maybe 3 oz of 140 proof shine and a melatonin chewable really does the trick when other methods don’t.

1:10:23 He questioned himself being a doctor maybe because Sarina died. i think if you have to often face the death of your patients especially someone you have developed a friendship, it definitely would be much more sad when he knew that he can't help Sarina recover. For the stalker, the interesting thing is the producer mentioned that they make his room look like a mess and full of rubbish, but only a place is clean is where he display Ai's goods like Cd/keychain/posters in order to highlight his love to Ai

IIRC Japan has a lower perspective when it comes to age of consent(16) while personally I don't agree with this, I do find it strange that even someone as analytical and open minded as you is quick to drop the judgement hammer on an a character(and by extension their entire society I'd guess). Now ofc the standard response is "whoa he is being sus" or whatever but just to place on the table. Many Societies eventually reached to a conclusion that through various factors 18 would be the age of maturity(not complete tho as 21 is for age drinking at least in the US) however I would figure that western society reached this conclusion maybe thanks in part to an average of expected maturity at the point in time this conclusion was decided(however long ago this was) but somehow westerners never seem to give trust to other societies believing that their conclusions are superior in every conceivable way. BTW based on the method I mentioned earlier I would even place the age of maturity at around 25 to 30 as lots of people in the west have shown considerable childishness in their thinking that would make their grand parents at the same age either revolt or laugh. Now I can't be sure if this is in fact your true belief or if your trying to maintain a socially acceptable image for your viewers and well its not I can't see why you wouldn't do the latter, you are a medical practitioner and even playing devils advocate for what current society considers as taboo would probably bring only negative results

My replies are around the 30:00 mark Now I'm a bit confused as to what extent a relationship can be considered parataxic, humans are creatures that are in a constant state of collecting information about the world around them, sure some can in fact stretch this too much by creating fantasies but even before that happens, you can work with what data you have, your interpretations of someone are fantasy up to a point of either proven for or otherwise. Even as you criticize the doctor on his behavior of drawing conclusions, is that such a strange thing to happen that it needs special mention? How does a person operate socially without acting in such a way, remember that at this point its all just in his head, the conclusions. If I walk towards you in a dark room with a knife, do you stop yourself from creating a conclusion that I may be a dangerous person until the moment I am in perfect striking distance and simply choose not to(I'm btw not prevented from striking at a later time, not just the present)

I hope we get some more characterization from him from that time. The way I see him acting, it doesn't seem he was this flexible with his morality in his past life, but perhaps there are a few things in that past which could hint at some of the behaviors we are seeing today.

Classic Tragedy that is. Nothing else. Something that is so old nowadays so that nearly everyone is not familiar with it anymore. EP 1 was all about making viewer a hopless fan. She is who everyone desires, but she is now gone. Not going to come back. Same pain goes to Aqua. Ai is dead, and Aqua will not going to see Ai by any chance. any 'natural' chance. This is classic tragedy after all, and classic Graco-Roman tragedies were part of the religious ceremonies. Now one might have glimps of actual plot of this show. To furfil Aqua's wishes, Ai has to be 'revived'.' Obviously not possible. It would require phenomenon known as "Miracle." Yes Miracle. But... this show IS the tragedy after all?

There are many hidden symbolism inside of the show too. One might have noticed how cellphones changes. Time is moving. That was intentionally added to show, and was not in original manga. Anime team intentionally introduced time frame for a reason. A reason same as Gundam, which first appeared to be contemporary era's Cute Girls doing Cute Thing-like school anime, but turned out to be a Classic Gundam after that 'agent of change.' Japan experienced long disconnection between generations for past three decades. They require cultural mending, as their current generation, those who are at age of 10-40, has fallen into hostility when Japan had to destroy bouble by its own. Pursuading hostile population to have a dream is something real f___ difficult. Ai is literally an idol A tool that is being used to remind people about their lost dreams of their lost spring time of life. This agenda can be seen in Bocchi the Rock as well, and only difference is that Bocchi targets more younger population while Oshi no Ko targets up age of 40, those who are at economically peaking age, and those who are not quite happy with their society, as they directly suffered 30 years of nation-wide layoffs. Show pursuades its viewer by telling, "why Ai has to die? why YOUR dream has to die?" More than enough to excavate anger from deepest of one's mind, and more than enough to bring catarsis by providing escapism for that anger. You will see so many contemporary Reiwa Animes having similar 'twisted' psychology integrated keep getting released. As this is Japan's current trend. As Japan finally got out of three decades of unhappy times, and they have people who has to be brought back to nation's furnace. They are people who were once abandoned and now is hostiles. But they are the only people who can work for furnace of the nation. If one cannot mend these people's trauma and resolve their hostility, that furnace, which already got pretty much extinguished, will have NO chance of getting fired up again.
