I cried so much watching this because I know God gave me this video and it’s exactly what I’ve been going through. I don’t come from ministry but God called me to it and I went to Bible school at a mega church and have been interning there. I was so naive and saw all types of evil behind the scenes. I’ve been so heartbroken. Feeling so used and abused for gifts and anointing. But I feel hope after I watched this. God can give me true family in the faith and can use my voice concerning these issues also. Thank you for talking about these things and sharing your own story♥️🙏🏾

Tennessean here, it’s for sure network central especially with us homesteaders. But in Christ.. I have one singular friend. (Because ppl are very shallow or dangerous 😅in the Bible Belt.) This Friend is my moms age, I trust her with my life and spirit. I can’t say that about my own family! I was raised in church, music ministry.. but this is the only true Christina covenant friendship/relationship I have EVER known. It’s a Rarity and a beauty

When Jessica mentioned those “friends” whose intentions were not real or loyal, it reminded me of the pain we have endured from those people in ministry leadership who saw our family as their competition. They intentionally sabotaged our influence & our mission there through lies & slander. Our family moved in faith, across the country, to do something with God. Instead, we were crushed. Thankful for the wine & the oil. That comes through the crushing. But, so ready to look for our tribe to do life with. Ready for families of Believers who want to learn to love well while doing ministry together. No more power hungry wolves in sheep’s clothing. Beautiful talk. Thx guys.

True friendship is such a blessing. I don't have any friends (aside from my husband) so I've had to walk through so many seasons of life without any support at all and it's been so difficult, let me tell you. Doing life alone is hard.

It's such a blessing to have two wise women of the Lord speak the insight and truth of Jesus Christ. It's been such a blessing for young people and I to have people of God speak and teach what he wants.

This is so beautiful. I don't believe that the weight of what a friend is according to what God intends it to be, is honored in the church a lot of times. It's messy and painful. The pain almost drives you from the church, it really does 😭😭.I've felt more like I've been tolerated by people that I thought more of them.

This is so refreshing. It’s a honor to be in full time ministry, but finding true and genuine friends where I can actually be vulnerable is a challenge and very disheartening. Just finding people who want to be friends outside of the day to day ministry experience is not easy. I am excited for the future of meeting my new friends in the presence of God, like you said. I want that. I am believing for that. Thank you for sharing. Sooo good. Solid wisdom. Looking forward to establishing some covenant relationships from the Lord!

I love to hear both of you the openess, you know I believe that revival will start when the church becomes transparent. I begun to confess my problems and secrets with my spiritual mother she never condemned me it has helped me a lot it helps me also to trust her more, but it also cleaned up my heart my heart was so broken full of hate, anger, envy and frustration but now the Lord has set my heart free.

Aww so beautiful, thank you. I remember many, many years ago, not having many real friends, asking the Lord about it. He said "you must be a friend to make friends. I was a very rejected person and was aware of my heart etc. but I stepped out more and have a few loyal friends. In ministry though, well that has been very hard. I get what you are saying.
