Took a drive through the Hugenoet Tunnel which goes through the Du Toit Kloof Mountain. It is just under 4 km long.

Longest road tunnel? The railway tunnel near De Doorns is the longest transport tunnel in Africa and the southern hemisphere.

Thanks, stand to be corrected but I agree '' road" tunnel.Never drove my car through the raill tunnel.

@@karooeagle Should be easy now that most trains in South Africa has been forced to a standstill by barbaric vandalism. Did you know that the southern tunnel you shown in your video is actually 1,300 mm shorter than the twin northern tunnel? This longer tunnel has not been paved yet.

@@Deontjie L.O.L. yip. Agree. They're destroying every facet of infrastructure . Instead of building on it they're breaking it down .
