LONGEST Escalators in Stockholm, Sweden. 2x ThyssenKrupp and 2x original 1975 O&K at Vastra Skogen

The longest escalators in Sweden at the Stockholm T-Bana station Vastra Skogen. They are 33m (108ft) tall in actual vertical height, with a total length of 66m (217ft). Thats a full 6 metres longer than the longest one in London, UK - at Angel Underground station (27.5m tall with a length of 60m). But still, neither are the tallest in Europe - that's in Prague. (yes yes, that video is coming!)

**Opened in 1975, the escalators were originally all O&K but the huge ones were replaced by ThyssenKrupp with their HD Victoria type in 2019 after 44 years. The smaller ones up from the platforms to the platform overpass remain, though lightly refurbished.
They all ride nicely. Plus this station is quite interesting. We have a walk around, take in some of the art on the walls and a look at those clicking 'Nasta Tag' (Next train) signs that show which platform the next train in a set direction will arrive as it has multiple platforms for the same line (Blue line).
