Yeah my friends are actually pretty even between regular and goofy. Its funny before i started skating i thought almost nobody pushed goofy.

I am currently going through a very difficult period in my life and this video makes me feel so liberated and confident that every change is for good. Thank you. I really needed this. Music is great!

For those of you who think they will "slip" or "wobble": Chances are that they are very experienced riders, not to mention the precision trucks they are riding along with the wide contact patch wheels they are rocking. They aren't riding bamboo pintails... Downhill boards are designed for just that: downhill.

One wrong move and it's all down hill from there... Quite literally.

The drivers are experienced follow drivers and in order to Beth the best shots the driver has to drive really close to them, that's how downhill skateboarding is filmed.... Look up "Santa gnarbara" they have tons of videos where the follow car is right behind the skater

Very supsicious performing car

ive been long boarding for two months i usually do it just to cruise, but ive gone down hill boarding a few times no im never in full gear, only had one bad bail so far was going 30 down a hill that had was about 1 - 2 min drop. lost control of board and forced myself to the side of the road because i knew a bail was coming, fell in the grass my right eye right knee and shoulder had some badass road rash but they actually finished healing up, and i am raging to go again!

The car doesn't stop. You folks speak of "the car" as if it had a conscience and could act on its own. Therein lies the problem when an entire mindset is in error, for starters a car does nothing on its own.

Son, you need to follow at a certain distance disunirregardless of how fast or slow or your reaction times, if you are following too close like that car in this video then you will HIT the object in front of you IF (or WHEN) it comes to a SUDDEN stop.

You get used to it. If you don't want to lose skin, you don't longboard. Plus, the events where leathers are required are usually the places you'll crash more because you're in groups.

I'd never do this unless I was wearing the heavy body armor from GTA 5 and every cliff curb had a barrier

Honestly it's not that scary, I do this crap on a weekly basis of speeds up to 65mph, with practice any hill becomes easy... The only that you really need is a full face helmet tbh

+dopex2xdeath there has never been such an incident in years, maybe severe road rash but downhill skaters are not that dumb to hit roads with large cracks and I'm pretty sure that the city would do something about that crack before it gets too big to affect skaters

I meant that it takes a lot for a crack to affect a skater and when it gets large enough to actually affect a skater the city usually takes care of it for safety hazards not for the skaters alone

I was driving in my neighborhood where I moved and I'm just driving and a steep hill starts I couldn't stop my longboard so i lost Control of it,I fell with my face on the ground and damaged my right eye and half of my face was full in blood they took me to the hostital
