Looking for the ultimate Android phone? The Galaxy S24 Ultra has been out for a while, and in this video, I dive deep after using it for 6 months. We're talking about the game-changing anti-reflective display, the unbelievable battery life that lasts, and the super-powered S Pen that makes this phone a productivity beast ( for some )
But that's not all! I also cover the incredible camera system, future-proof 7 years of software updates, blazing-fast data speeds and connectivity, the ultra-tough Gorilla Glass, and surprisingly, no overheating issues. I even explore Samsung's AI features to see if they live up to the hype (spoiler-alert, I only use a couple)
Is the Galaxy S24 Ultra still the king of Android phones? Watch to find out! This video is packed with real-world experience to help you decide if this is the right phone for you.

Thanks! I was going to get it in a few months, but because of how awesome this is from what you showed me, I am going to anxiously wait and maintain my patience for the 25 to get here! Also, I know this is a problem for you, but I've had to buy pens for my 22+ because of my longer nails and trying to be precise when doing adjustments to photos (like drawing a line around and object to omit out, choosing a color match, filling out forms where I am handwriting them in and signing is small spaces when not pdf editable, also in doing some gaming things that need precision. And yes, hitting snap on a picture on a stand is wonderful). Thanks again! I'm subscribed to you now because I really liked your brief but more than informative post. 😊

Hey Mark, this might be a bit of a random question since it's not about the S24U, but would you happen to know (aside from battery size & camera I'm assuming) what the difference will be between the S25 & S25U? I've never really felt the need for the Ultra version of any galaxy phone, but I would like to have the S25 and all the capabilities that come with it (including AI), so I would be a little bummed if certain software/processing power may be cut back in the "less premium" models. No worries if this is unknown or you're not sure. Thanks for your time. Great video btw-had I seen this last week, I would've considered getting an S24 instead of fixing my S20 lol

The only thing that is wrong with the S24 Ultra that if it comes with the S25 ultra I will not buy it is the anti reflection coating. The S24 Ultra display is bad. I didn't know until I bought the sibling the S24. Once a screen is bright you don't get reflection on it

I don't know if I got a dud but this is the first device that I can't use outdoors. I can see the screen for about 15 minutes and then it automatically dims so bad I can barely read it. I've tried every setting and nothing changes this. Bragging how bright this display is means nothing when you can't even get it to be that bright. I can't wait to get rid of it. Hopefully the Zfold6 won't have this issue. My Zfold5 didn't so I'm hopeful.

I own an S24U and I agree with almost everything you've said. The only downsides of this phone for me is the grainy display on low brightness, the slow shutter speed that makes moving subjects look blurry and the colour inconsistency between the different cameras on video mode. Aside from those it really is an amazing phone! I always use the Galaxy AI and the S Pen especially for editing pictures btw. Super handy to me!

Coming from an S21 ultra and Note 8 and a note 4, the s24 ultra is a bit disappointing. Would've kept my oneplus 12 if it wasn't for its inferior audio quality for bluetooth and wired. The s24 ultra display just looks like a step-down with its less vivid colors and the very noticeable grain. The Oneplus 12 has a much more vivid display, with also having to be accurate as well close to rec. 709 color gamute in its 10-bit display and also supports dolby vision. The battery is just fine. It's not as good as my oneplus 12 and a little bit better than my old 21 ultra. Its OS is nowhere near fluid or as snappy as Oneplus 12, iphone 15, or the pixel 8 imo. S24 ultra is a great phone but should've been a bit cheaper.

Ok, so explain to me because I just don’t get it…. What are you going to do with the s24U that makes it so exciting over the iPhone? I have both the s24U and 15PM and I’m just not seeing where this “excitement” of use is coming from, the both do the same thing, with minor differences….sure the s24U has some screen capabilities where the iPhone doesn’t but is that exciting? Does that make it lots of fun to use? Not for me it doesn’t, so just what are you doing or going to do with the s24U that’ll make it so much more fun and exciting???

One thing I should add though, with what you're saying, is that you have to GIVE UP a phone that's worth $550 at least to get $750 off the phone. And then you have to pay more money. So your giving up over $1,000 total, whether it's in cash or in the device your trading, you're still paying over $1,000 for the phone. At that point they will give you $750 off next year, or close to it, and you'll have to pay an extra $500 too. So basically every year you are PAYING an extra $500 to go from one ultra to the next. The next year's ultra isn't $500 better than this years. So to summarize, yes, the trade in deals are great. They give you more than your phone is worth. But you're not getting a phone for $550. You are trading in a phone worth about $550 and getting $750 for it. So you're getting an extra $200 off each year. That's the math we're looking at. Still awesome to get an extra $200 off. But that's what it practically is

Former Iphone user [Just got the s24u] Ok so like i have been an iphone user for years ever since the iphone 4s came out. This week i switched to the s24u because i decided to finally get over my fan vibe for iphones and the fact that iphone software really sucks ive been through 5 iphones. The last one i had was an Iphone 11. Now considering the price of the s24u yeaaa... it will take a bit to pay off but in the long run.. i can say that this phone is so worth it. So far i have not had any battery issues. If you are having issues then maybe check for any apps running in the background. The feel of this phone is so much nicer than iphone in my opinion i also freaking love the screen protector you can get that makes the screen smudge proof. Highly recommend the privacy screen protector from T-Mobile. The camera is amazing ok taking freaking pics of the moon! THE MOON! THat zoom is insane. Making the phone perfect for Vlogging videos or professional photography. Ok, I'll stop talking now and get back to messing around on my phone. Peace!

Damn bro. 😎 I have never heard anyone say this about Samsung Vs. Apple and I think you are so CORRECT ✅ bro. One of the main reasons I hate iOS and Apple 🍎 even though I have all their stuff is it really never ends with Apple they just take and take and take and charge more 💰💸🤑for like everything. Samsung is like the last honest phone 📱 and it is an everything phone. 📱 you can do so much with it. Because Samsung designed it that way. Don’t get it twisted Apple 🍎 could do the same thing but if they did then there sales would fall of a cliff. Straight FIRE 🔥 thoughts bro. Ps. I can’t even use my iPhone 📱 in the direct sunlight because it just dims or overheats.

It's a shady victory, really. Half of the competitors wouldn't bother to release their phone to Westerners due to fear of sanctions. Samsung primarily follows Apple's footsteps. And Apple itself isn't doing much of work. Let's face it, S24U won merely due to lack of any decent competition, not because it's an awesome device. Slow charging (sure, for Americans that's lighting fast, but we got used to 120 w chargers for years), dodgy software updates that deteriorate user experience, camera performance and battery life, heavily throttled S8G3, outdated screen technology with new problems (graininess in low brightness, green lines), outdated camera hardware. I'd rather give the win to OP 12 - it's a helluva bang for the buck

I do not agree with you. I have been with Samsung from the S8 model, through all Galaxy Note and the entire S series up to and including S24 Ultra. This is my last phone from this manufacturer, on the day of the premiere of One Plus 13, I say goodbye to Samsung. We have a dud for a lot of money in which we are forced to take 12mpx photos in the machine because the others are broken. Why don't you say that photos at 50/200 megapixels are useless, because what happens to the photo 5 seconds after taking it ruins it completely. A nasty filter is applied to the photos, they lose sharpness and no longer resemble the image visible on the screen when they were taken. Why don't you say that it's a phone that has shitty photo modes and every single one is broken? We have Expert RAW which should be a clean screenshot from the matrix, but not in Samsung's case. Still shit happens to the photos after 5 seconds, they are useless. A mode in which we should decide about everything, the phone still does what it wants with photos in 50/200 megapixel resolution. In Pro mode, surprisingly, nothing happens after 5 seconds, but again we cannot take photos at 200 megapixels, another broken mode. Additionally, photos in Pro mode are worse because the Expert Raw mode has received an update, thanks to which photos can be zoomed in much closer after taking them, while in Pro mode they immediately lose quality. Maybe make a material about it, phone of the year? We have a dud for a lot of money, which in terms of photography has regressed to the S21 Ultra series, even in terms of zooms. There were literally thousands of dissatisfied users on the Samaung Members website. There was a backlog of them when Samsung started deleting their posts, all the time pretending that nothing happened. Where is the promised big camera update, which was supposed to be available about 2 months ago, but has not happened yet. The photos I took with the S22 Ultra at 108Mpix are currently unavailable on the S24 Ultra. The photo there was exactly like the preview on the screen, sharp as a razor, and if you could zoom in losslessly after taking it, it was a real pain. Now we have 200 on paper, too bad it's useless. The phone has a shitload of photo modes, and there isn't one in which everything works, from resolution to everything else. If something like this is the phone of the year for you, you must be paid a lot by Samsung to say such nonsense. The S24 Ultra does not deserve to be called a flagship and is not even next to a flagship. Make a material about it. Samsung deserves a total rebuke for screwing users over. I hope that in the future model people will start to become smarter and start looking at the stones of those who still care. There was once a manufacturer who ignored users' requests or suggestions. It's called Xperia. everyone knows what percentage of the market it currently occupies. I hope Samsung doesn't end the same way.

In S22 Ultra at 108 Mpix it was normal, the photo was exactly like its preview. In S24 Ultra, even in manual modes, the phone decides for us what the photo looks like. It's a real tragedy.

@@varunaX The camera is the biggest piece of shit. For the phone to decide for us what the photo looks like, even in manual modes? It's a real disaster for this kind of money. To this day I regret selling the S23 Ultra, not only did it look much better, but it also had beautiful zoom lenses. If you want to go back to the S21 Ultra model for this kind of money, go ahead and buy it. I'm just waiting for the premiere of One Plus 13 and I'm saying goodbye to Samsung forever. Until people get smarter, nothing will change for the better. Samsung is only looking to screw us users. After playing with every top Chinese product this year, i see how Samsung is far behind. I won't pay a lot of money for something that wasn't even next to the flagship. And that's exactly what the S24 Ultra is.
