OVERVIEW:
Dr. Bhaskar Srivastava discusses abstracts being presented at the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Feb 2018 on the long term efficacy of TREMFYA. In the VOYAGE 1 trial, 329 patients were randomized to Tremfya and 334 patients were randomized to Humira. In the VOYAGE 2 trial, 496 patients were randomized to Tremfya and 248 were randomized to Humira. In addition, regardless of initial assignment, patients continued or crossed over to Tremfya during the ongoing long-term extension of both trials. The 2-year pooled safety data for these trials was released at the Gene to Clinic meeting in London (November 2017). In this analysis, a consistent safety profile was seen among 1221 patients exposed to Tremfya over approximately 2 years of follow up (over 2000 patient years).
