    Very good cutting edge information. It looks like you and Bruce enjoy the fruits of your labour. Thanks to you and Bruce for doing the heavey lifting when it comes to improving these sleds to the best you can with the parts you have to work with. We have applied some of your hard work to our sleds here in the prairies of Canada.

    Hey Jesse, I want to thank you and Bruce for this excellent series of videos! You guys are very informative while keeping it fun to watch. I really appreciate it, you helped me a lot while shopping for a used machine. Last week I picked up a 2022 XCR 850 136" and the original owner also watches your channel, so much that he had already installed C&A XPT skis and had the suspension well set up! Cheers from Carp, Ontario, Canada

    Nice recap guys! Yes the 16# torsions are literally like pillows and the 18# make the sled turn noticeably better in the woods but take a little pillow feel away on the little chop but still amazing. I've been about 3/8 inch further out on my limiter with these new torsions so far(one 16#, one - 18# on m/m).

    Thanks Dan! Definitely a huge improvement over stock springs. We know how angry the consumers get if they feel any bit of rigidness so we’re testing the light duty for now. I think if I was on a short track this year (took a year to test assault things) I’d be on one and one like you said. Would probably a perfect middle of the road! Throwing my hat in the ring this weekend for some cross country ice racing. Up At Bruce’s now getting the ol girl ready

    Nice. Yeah two 16# long tails make the chatter bumps basically disappear and isn't rigid for me at 190lbs, its wild. I've been calling them the old man springs. Sweet! Good luck to you! @@JESSEJAMES322

    Awesome work guys, can’t wait for the Hygear update also. Really appreciate the info, already planning on putting your hard work to use on my next sled! Also, since I’ve been unable to even ride my sled once this year due to no snow in northern MN, I really enjoy at least watching you guys have some fun! Thanks!

    Great job guys, damn in-depth. So basically it’s more progressive? Sucks up small bumps nice and soft and doesn’t bottom on big hits? The best of both worlds?

    correct but also because its mounted in front of the front torque arm the front and rear of the skid work together which is the big differnece in my eyes. either way they just WORK

    Why doesn't Polaris install these from factory. Are they that much better than the HD springs that you guys rave about?

  • @JESSEJAMES322

    @JESSEJAMES322

    4 ай бұрын

    this is a brand new spring that was put on the race sleds. takes time to work these into the consumer side. and yes they are much better then any of the standard springs. we dont rave about HD springs we try and express that different weights need different springs. which we had a few options up until now and now we have these as options which come in two different spring rates

    I really wanted to do this but I couldnt find the part number for the spring in heavy duty equivalent to the standard hd spring for the pro cc skid. I guess I misunderstood the spring rate and preload so normal long tail cross country torsion springs would have worked. I would suggest to help push more customers to south side, post the parts you use in a link to their website so people can buy direct!
