Just want to let you know how much I enjoy seeing you review the less advertised clubs.😊
Love seeing these reviews on the more inexpensive clubs and how fantastic they perform. Just goes to show a person doesn’t have to empty the bank to own some thing with stellar performance and leaves a little extra money for the other golf expenses which are also rising every year. Great channel!
One last thing on the Head Driver. As a Former Marine in the Marine Corps Air Wing I noticed that the underside of the driver has a unique airfoil design that I recognized as similar to surfaces on various pieces of equipment I encountered that require aerodynamic, low drag characteristics to operate. Have a look at it when you get the chance.
Great review as always! Really appreciate the deep dive into the Tour Edge C524 fairway wood. The detailed analysis of its performance, technology, and value for money offered a lot of insights. It's refreshing to see a high-quality option that doesn't break the bank, especially with the rising costs in golf equipment. The discussion about its forgiveness and feel was particularly helpful. I've been on the fence about trying Tour Edge, but this review might have just tipped the scales for me. Looking forward to more reviews like this!
Thank you for giving the shaft information on this review. Even though I just watched this out of curiosity vs actually bagging this club. So many of the KZread reviews don’t mention a thing of the shaft information. It’s shocking that the less emphasis on shafts in reviews are missing. Especially when there are a lot of great stock option shafts these days. 👏
Listen man, real budget driver story. (Thanks to you). On your advice I went and bought the Head by Powerbilt Irons and they are everything I was looking for. Just for shits and giggles and with no expectations I bought the Head driver with a HZRDUS SMOKE RDX Black stiff flex shaft for 100.00 on clearance at the PGA store. Strait out of the gate it makes my Taylor Made M1 feel, sound and perform like a tomato can by comparison...I mean it's not even close. I already sold the M1 on Ebay. I was totally shocked. I DARE you to pick one up because it's insane at a hundred bucks! It's not my only driver but if my Son starts beating me on the course I won't hesitate to reach for it for the hail Mary.

I have played the Hot Launch E522 for the last two years. Never found a 3 wood I liked until this one. Very easy to launch, rockets off the face, straight as a string. Superb value. What's not to like?
Going to check this out as I’ve been upgrading my old burner bubble set that I started with in august. got the sim 2 max irons at a big discount recently based on your review and they have been a game changer.
Thank you Gabe. Amazing. The 3 wood will perhaps be the next in my bag to be changed and may not be this year but I will keep the video for reference.thanks again
Tour Edge starting to appear in American Golf in the UK! Seen them used on the senior tour.
I just put the 7 wood version of the E524 in the bag on Saturday and I love it!! Forgiving and very solid distance. Great club!!

7 Wood is such a great choice! Well done, John
Excellent and educational video as always . Need a 7 wood and will give them a try Cheers from Canada
good review I've been playing an Exotics C721 3 wood for several years now. Tour Edge makes great fairway woods.
Thanks for the review, been looking for a club to cover a gap and definitely going to look into this line 👍
Right in there price range with PXG 0211 fairways. I play mostly PXG. The golf shop near me carries some tour edge, but it’s a limited selection, they clearly push the expensive brands
You know I had to chime in with the Tour Edge love. I’m glad you got to experience the feeling when you hit the sweet spot. Their clubs aren’t shy when it comes to feedback and feeling.
Been waiting for a review on these. Saw them in the shop a few weeks ago and loved the look. Didn’t have time to swing one. I must the only one who thought they were shallow too instead of deep.
I'm not one that has a 3 wood in my bag currently. But would like to learn how this club compares to the Adams Idea 3 wood? I believe price might be similar. Keep up the great work
I have tour edge 3,5 and 7 woods, love them.
Great review love tour edge gear but in uk not a lot available play c721 driver and fairway wish more chance to see product in uk when brought driver less than half price the rest of market but golf bidder best second hand store don't deal with their gear got from American golf but can't upgrade as American golf send part ex to golf bidder great content keep up the good work have a word with tour edge a small island but lots of golfers the u.k.
Tour Edge has always made great fairway woods. Glad to know you can get a great club for a value. I hit the original Exotics when they came out.

I bought the c522 5 Wood from American golf in the UK, I was so impressed I went out and bought the 3 wood. Great value for money. Good to see that you were also impressed. Loved the review. Andrew from the UK.

Very nice!
Before I got my new set.. I had the hot launch 2 irons, wedges, hybrids and driver. The driver and I did not get along, but I loved the irons and the hybrids.
Check out the C524 irons. They are also fantastic!
As always Gabe, great review. What is your thoughts on how you managed a further 20 plus yards on fairway shot over the t box drive?
I’m really interested in the rest of the C524 line after the drive review, even bought a 7 iron demo to try, even though got a good deal on a sim max driver, planing on getting the c524 driver to test also
I hit a C522 3 wood and it is awesome!
Another great video!! Love the Killarney polo Gabe!! You've reviewed so many awesome budget clubs. Would you consider making a 'Best Budget Bag' video, where you build a full set of set clubs with your top selections and favorites for the season?

I’d love to see that too. I’m a beginner. Not a lot of spare 💰💰 laying around for expensive clubs I’ll only use a handful of times a year.
Hey sir, what app do you use to count your yardage/distance on your phone?
Gabe - Thanks for everything you do for the enthusiasts. After seeing your Costco Edge review multiple times I went out got one and find it better fitting for me compared to my earlier Lazrus hybrid irons. The set comes with 3W and a 5h. should I add this 5W. I do miss the 4/5 hybrid irons I was using earlier. BTW I am 60+ with slow swing speed. If one has already entered the giveaway in a previous post do you enter again ?

The 5 wood could be good if you need to fill a gap. I’d say if you have 20-25 yards in between. As for the giveaway….Only one entry per person, but maybe you have a friend or relative?

Great vid as always! Can you give tips on how you hit 3 woods/fairway woods (ball position, etc.)? Thanks, Gabe!!

I like to play it forward in my stance, basically off my left heel. I take more of a straight back/ straight thru swing instead of the more arcing inside out of my draw. Try to hit down on it to avoid bouncing the turf behind the ball. Hope that helps!

Seriously debating on trying out the Takomo 101 irons. Although I play a players distance iron (Callaway Apex 24), I would like something a little easier to hit. Anyone have any reviews on the Takomo irons?

I'm not a massive fan of that one
I got lucky and found the Taylormade 16.5* HD 3 wood with the high launch speeder shaft in the used section 4:36 at a local golf store for $179.99. I’m not sure if it was ever hit it was so nice. It retailed at $349.99. When I went to pay, I found out it was 25% off so my final price was in the mid $140s plus tax.
Tour Edge has been quietly building great clubs for many years.
You've already got rid of the Takomo 3 wood?
Grest review. Are you putting the driver and 3 wood in your bag

Not making any changes at the moment. But if I did, it would be the 3 wood and hybrid from this line.

I’d say each year is a slight upgrade in forgiveness. All in all, SIM 2 still holds up though.
Would love to have tried these out. I am in Canada and Tour Edge is pretty much non existent in Canada. They are losing a lot of business up here. Went with Ping instead and could not be happier.

Gabe is now a lean, mean, fighting machine. Would you rate the 524 series as high as the Exotics line for driver & fairway woods? I'm considering Tour Edge clubs for future purchases.
@LetsPlayThru

Quality to value wise, yes. But it’s important to note that the Exotics line is more customizable and adjustable. That could be a deal breaker for some.

At a handicap of 4.3 do you still qualify as a “mere mortal”. 😂. I've got an E523 seven wood in my bag right now. Maybe a touch too offset for this actual “mere mortal” (14.7) but still a useful club.

I enjoy your reviews but I have to say I find it really strange that you ask why people spend the money for expensive clubs instead of the more affordable options yet you use the most expensive driver on the market Ping G430 10K.
@LetsPlayThru
3 ай бұрын
Hi Chuck, thanks for the comment. I just want to clarify, that I'm not asking people to spend their money any place. I present all the options, expensive, average, and budget options. I always play the best clubs for me and some of the ones that find their way in my bag are expensive and some are on the cheaper side. I prefer cheaper, personally. But this is also a hobby I'm willing to spend money on what I think is the best. Everyone has to make their own choice on what they're willing to spend and what they think works best for them. Cheers. -- Gabe
