Big pit carp fishing is one of the most demanding facets of our sport, one minute the fish will be in the margins, the next, they will be in the middle completely out of reach. Being able to fish effectively at range is important if you plan on fishing somewhere with large areas of open water and one of the most accessible day-ticket venues of this type is A1 Pits, Pit 6. We tasked Scott Lloyd with the challenge of this busy venue and the northern carp put him through the ringer!

Have to say I could watch Scott all day everyday, such an inspiration in my own angling, anyone I know who’s spent time with him, angled along side him or just been in his company, has nothing but praises to say! First met him on church lake many years ago, such a lad! Keep up the good work ❤

Hi. I am a big fan of soft and delicate 2.25-2.5lb carp rods. I've been fishing with German 2.25lb anacondas for 10 years and I think it's time to change and buy something fresher. Unfortunately, in my country such rods cannot be bought. There are only rods for surface fishing. I interested in carp rods with a curve of 2.25-2.5 lb without a cork handle ! only Japanese shrink and rod blank preferably in black matte. Have any suggestions? Have you seen such sticks? If so, please reply. Maybe I can buy it on eBay or Amazon. Thank you very much and greetings to English carp anglers.
