    love your LP attack. I am a penholder and I attack with my forehand with LP as if its an inverted rubber. my backhand is short pips. thanks for sharing your video. you have good backhand attack with your long pimples. what rubber do you use on the forehand? and which LP do you use?

    @@kavarasings9813 Thank you. I usually change rubbers very often, to test material. Last season I spent several weeks with short pips on the forehand and long pips on the backhand. Since summer I have been playing with Grass dtecs aceed green OX on the backhand and TSP ventus spin on the forehand. This week I returned to my beloved Curl P1 0.5 and ventus spin. I also try different woods, but I currently compete with hinoki Darker's woods

    In the last video there are 2 errors: 1 - As you hit the ball you go backwards. 2 - Your arm is very stiff at all times, and that doesn't help at all to get the ball over the net. / Although the OX do not help in the attack and you have to use your arm more, you already have control in the attack technique. You might want to use the rubber with some sponge to increase the speed of the attack (up to 1.0-1-3). Greetings.

    This is surely great tutorial. I just have two questions: 1. Do you use hand wrist in your hitting or is it more tensed? 2. How the ball does not go high, because, in your supination technique, I see that you open the blade. So, how do you adjust the possibility of the ball going over the table. And is it the same technique for both backspin and topspin

  • @SeghosTableTennis

    @SeghosTableTennis

    2 жыл бұрын

    When I teach the technique at initiation, I tell them to first get used to rotating the forearm (supinate), when it is acquired, if you use the wrist the hit has more power. Yes, I use the wrist at the end of the hit That is the most difficult part, each blade-rubber combination has an angle, with some pimples you have to open more for topspin balls and with others more for backspin. as you know it's practice, and not change the material much, like I do 😊

    Im a pimple user and i taught how to used pimps in attack. For me you can used this like a backspin but you need to wrist and arms to make it possible... One thing you need to choosed which service of your opponent can you used it. It is more effective in side spin or side chop but when it comes to chop you need to put extra effort or power to make it possible... Dont make it super late if you use it a little bit late or on the rise of the more effective

    @@bunso5103 What you say is true, in many cases. But with OX pimples and stiff woods (but not too hard) it can be easier to attack balls with backspin than side spin or side chop. The only bad thing is that the ball he returns can be easily attacked. Of course, once the gesture is internalized, the wrist must be incorporated, not just the forearm

    Con los TroubleMaker OX la siento muy bien, puedo atacar, cortar atrás, empujar, es una madera dura pero no tan rígida. @@SeghosTableTennis sí, RWV es la Rosewood normal de 5 capas. La mía pesa en torno a 87-88, pero es cierto que algunas son muy ligeras y en torno a los 80 y pocos gramos. La carbonado 145 es más rápida, la mía en velocidad se asemeja más a la 45 normal solo que tiene un toque más seco y rígido y resulta menos elástica.

    Without knowing your style of play it is more complicated, but I leave my opinion. I played with that combination rubbers with a butterfly matshusita pro (the old one) with a classic defensive style, it is a rather slow wood-only racket. With Ox close on the table I personally like rather rigid and hard blade but only wood. But the best advice I can give you is to look for one that you like, if possible try a teammate's and once that you choose one with which you feel comfortable, do not make changes and train with it, you will master your material more and more, and the same applies to rubbers.

    I’d love to play against this long pips guy. He would hardly get any points. 1- attack his serves (very mediocre serves) 2- counter the backhand with flat (open racket) backhand. 3- for variety, role the ball nice and slow and deep to his background and wait for an easy ball to hit. I still think long pips and anti rubber should be banned. They only work against new players and gives unfair advantage to the user.

Also , once a player has a rating of 1650 or above, pimples do not worry them. if you are a good inverted player, pimples poses no problem at all. Maybe you need to improve your skills so you can play against all types of rubbers. from your comment, you must be a sub 1600 player. ratings central is an international scoring system. you can google it.
