Jacob Gresham That lines up with what I’ve heard. Seems that the move to AA is typically the most difficult specifically because of the level of competition.

AA definitely is the most dense with budding talent. Who knows which level any of the guys featured on the channel would’ve spent most of their season this year...but 100% of them say AA. That’s why. A ball is a knock and AAA is almost considered JV or rehab, or 1 step from the exit door. Think of AA like the freshman team at the best high schools in the country where they simple don’t promote the frosh until the playoffs. The freshman squads are typically packed with more budding talent than JV, but the JV guys often have more high velo reps, but typically lower ceilings.
AA Should get some more respect. These guys are really good.

I remember my big brother was swinging a 35/33 in practice and a 34/32 in game. Crazy how these bigger guys can swing such a giant bat with no problem

I remember swinging a 34 inch Easton reflex in high school. Bat was live but I wish I'd have used a shorter bat back then would have hit for a much higher avg.
I can tell this was on Friday because of that airplane circling the valley, I was at my practice at the same time and notice it was going in circles lol (maybe it was Thursday but around that time)
Just catching up on some of your past wood bat videos - great stuff guys! One statement that stuck with me here was, (and I’m paraphrasing), “this isn’t about technology - wood is wood.” To me, that’s what makes the wood bat game so great. Keep up the great work!
This brand absolutely LAUNCHES the balls. I mean the two pros we're hitting complete rods 420+ feet. Looked amazing on the Cam angle. That Utah air obv helps but still the sound and response looked amazing! Def gotta get a matchup between this brand & the victus & louisville models. Dope video brothers!!
Yo guys you helped me pick out a new BBCOR and I'm hitting 50 feet farther!! Thank you so much

More wood videos. Time to bring in an audio engineer to get the most out of those bat cracks.
Taylor Snyder!! He’s the one that got me sponsored by American BatSmith at JetHawks Stadium
Damn its my bro Taylor. Played with him last season in the Auckland Tuatara which was the team in the video. Much love to him 🔥⚾️
These things are absolute orbital cannons. Perfect camera angle as well. Nicely done fellas, brewskies all around!
I actually got a 34/31 for a c243 maple bat and it is easy to swing for me. I end up being the only one using it lol but I am thinking of getting a 34/31 birch c271 just for more balance. Or I could just end up with a smaller c243 because I like the end load. Indecisiveness is killer
I’m pickin short n heavy cuz I’m short n heavy
I really loved watching Payton when he was playing in Appleton for the Timber Rattlers. He's a great defensive catcher and I was sad to see him head to Miami. I'll be following his journey for as far as it takes him.
The sound of the bat 🤯🤯
Love watching y’all’s vids clicked on it as soon as I got the notification
Working our way up to Trout, I would love to see a “round table” of pros talking about bats and baseball with you guys, next year would love to see you hitting practice! Keep up the good work my man love these videos! Makes me wanna get back out and play!
Those AA guys were killing it, geez
baseball bat bros living life😭 when you said you were in utah to visit fam and the bat company asked if you were down to hit. i was like yooo thats live i love to go hitting random at times😂
He’s the thing I have 4 wooden bats 2 are Viper Bats 271s one is a 33/31 -2 & 33/32 -1, and a Viper Bats 243L 33/31 -2 which is a enloaded power, and a B45 MP134 33/31 which a gift from a friend on the Cincinnati Reds Organization I used the -1 for BP training and facing LHP in a game while the rest I preferred the 243L for enloaded contact & power but still it matters by the hands and comfort approach
These vids are just mesmerizing at this point🔥🔥🔥
I'm sure that any company that is looking for product testing to be shown would definitely pick a better billet to build from especially for a "Custom Built" model. How a custom model compares to a standard model could be interesting. Great video so much good info.
I bought two blem bats from Rawlings’ website over the summer and was lucky enough to get two Mac Jack wood bats... the coolest part about these ones? Japanese maple... even have the stamp for approved play. If you guys ever get your hands on one of those, highly suggest it. Will absolutely murder the ball with one
Big love for the T-Rats footage!
430?!?! That’s the furthest in Bat Bro’s channel history, right?! 😱💪 straight BOMBS
Great review! Thanks guys.
The sound of a wood bat warms my heart , I want one of those bats now
My Favourite is Maple 243 34.5in 32.2oz always a bomb great video.
Oh yeah! You love seeing new Baseball Bat Bros content!
THANK YOU!
Those bats sound so sweet.
Love Kearns field! Played there multiple times during high school
I feel like we all have a buddy like Will who is in a perpetual state of motion. Rocking back and forth
Will you should have visited Bat Digest Brian with these bats to get an actual measured swing weight. Great cross over. What do you mean by sweet spot? Since wood bats have no hoop mode compression, the barrel performance should more constant along the length unlike aluminum. The center percussion will be influenced with with turn shape but I suspect the difference is. more the hitters reaction then bat performance.
I think the hardest thing for my son is finding the right turn model which he likes to swing. That is the hardest thing about wood. Bought 4 wood bats, some low end. And settled with the Marucci AM22 33inch.
Mountains in the background? And pro grass? Love the new venues! Regarding wood bats, and you guys said in the Demarini wood bat clip, I do think kids swing wood bats too early in some cases (& definitely too heavy of a wood bat). Any idea for a 13U player on what type of wood to swing? Does American Batsmith offer anything for this age? I've yet to check their site but will be heading there here ins a few.

Awesome sounding bats!!!
It really seems like most good wood bats have what seems like the same velocity coming off the bat as the top BBCOR bats. Or if not more Speed. Thats, what my eyes are seeing at least. You Guys were hitting 💣
love your vids man keep up the good work
Very useful video thanks boys
I wish they could put the links of the bats in the description. But keep up the good work.
Love watching you guys everyone like the video👍😁
I just thought of a good video idea. The 2017 Cf Zen vs. The illegal Meta I would love to see that showdown.
Dope bats.
I swing a 34 softball woodbat and drop three fingers on the bottom hand and cover the top hand over the bottom. Gives it more of a 36" feel. Drives the ball hard.
thanks!
Nice fact to keep in mind. Cupped bats start with a more dense/heavier wood billet to "cup down" to the weight requested. This is a plus over a non-cupped bat.
Haven’t finished the video but know I’m going to love this. Definitely try the same video from the Batsmith, and see if he can get you a 32 inch, 34 oz bat 271 and 243. Trust me, it’s going to feel like an axe but you make contact on a smaller yet heavier bat and that thing is nuked. Like a cheat code

Oooh I love it!!!!!!
I just got the new The Goods because of you guys thank you so much
Kind of a tough comparison because their two totally different bar shapes and weighted differently. The c271 probably has a smaller sweet spot but a very definite one when you get it right. The 243 in my experience has a little less definite sweet spot but it’s a bigger sweet spot
Call you guys the army, the way you hitting tanks 💪
Wow 20k to 100k that quick wow keep up the good work guys! 🤩🤩
i swing a 33/30 C243 cupped and will say for an average sized player its a great mix of end load and barrel control. the difference of one ounce from what i swing to what you have there is just from the cup so id assume you are swinging a bit heavier there
Would be interesting to see what results you could get from a 35 inch 30 oz bat. Would have to be a custom bat with a small barrel though. Like a fungo but Not quite a fungo
Those sound so good
These bats are very impressive
Beautiful powerful swing from the AA guys. Do they have a KZread channel?
this is actually a great video idea
Bro y’all are amazing
Hey Batbros, if you can, check out the Turner10 by Rawlings. In my opinion, it’s got a massive sweet spot and great pop! I wonder how this compares to those bats
You guys need to try Dingbat bats. From Madison, Wisconsin. If you're ever in the area. Thanks.
You touched on it a bit... would love to see a BBCOR longer/balanced vs shorter/endload.

So you never hit the ball that far usually when you're back in Oregon. Is it primarily due to the elevation you're at in Utah or are those bats seriously that good? I've hit only composite wood in the five years I've played in the senior wood bat league. But I feel comfortable enough that next year I want to switch to real wood. There are about half a dozen wood bat manufacturers I want to try out. Should I add American Batsmith to my list?

Utah elevation legitimately puts an extra 30 feet or so on a well-hit ball
Wat up wat up will, I'm Jason from St. Louis, Mo. Saw this clicked instantly, really like the channel!

You guys should try to review old hickory wood bats
correct me if im wrong but both of these guys with there leg kick there front foot sweeps on top on the line a little bit is that like a thing that guys do to get more power?
Does the 271 denser bullit turn also add distance?
represent to the ABL there bro.
also good luck to the boys in AA keep grinding!!
What would you pick if the bats are the same turn model?
Those bats look nice
Damn, they had these guys in Riverton? That was my High school.
Those bats look dope.
I love how the AA plyers just non shulontly hitting the ball 400 feet
