The explanation on youtube! I had always difficulties with the swinging and positioning of the lead before casting. The camangle was right and the demo. Thanks mate! Keep it clean and fair, and keep fishing!!!

You flow and poise is on the of the best left handers I've seen. Mind you I'm much more buoyant with 6.5" Scarborough, 12'" graphite, and 4 ounce lead on 30lb nylon. Not that it comes close to an overhead reel but it sounds nice when making those ball bearings hum. FANTASTIC cast by the way.

Yes the title does say the tiger woods at casting correct ... The world record holder is Danny moeskops of Belgium and he can really hit a lead .. But the chap in this video knows his stuff and does a very nice basic high swing pendulum and he executed it perfectly.. Whether it's tiger woods or some other name he still hits it like a pro and leaving negative comments makes you look jealous that you may not be a tiger woods 😂

My uncle taught me that same cast i am still practising it a year later, my drop for now is probably 1 and a half foot higher so I need to work on having the confidence to get it around half way down the rod, but I've hit a few casts right each session and you really get a buzz when you hit the cast at its sweet point

I can't believe this type of cast is unknown. I fish, but I'm not a pro or even a skilled amateur. I've been doing this cast long before I was 8. It isn't just for long distance. It also is the best way to cast between two objects.

I’ve been doing it since 1978 🤔but looking at the way he is casting not quite how i do it, also keep your hands the same space as your shoulders, and always use 10 lb of shock leader for every Oz of lead, although back then my rod is shorter that the modern ones, and the way he finishes his cast isn’t how i do mine but hey each to their own

Make sure to use a casting trigger if you're going to do this on a spinning reel. I learned that the hard way when I got a really vicious line cut on my finger. You can get them for about $11 on ebay, just search "casting trigger". They hold the line for you securely so you can whip it as hard as you want without losing a finger.

Rod/reel combo with fishing kit as an emergency setup kzread.infoUgkxntWMOZsO1Zfv-pdn_XuffEtNkTYAYu4Z recommend but started to use this every day. The rod is thick and seems durable. I keep it neatly tucked into a regular backpack all the time with my fishing gear, and can grab it anytime, put it on my back and go anywhere. I just read in another review that the rod length below the reel is adjustable as well, so I will try that too for even more portability. Probably the best setup I've ever owned. I lost the cap for the eyelets, but no big deal since I still have the black cloth sheath that came for the pole and I use that. Very portable and high quality.
