My discovery of the... ehem, "wonders of the Internet" was back when gen 5 was the current boom so all the Skyla "content" will always place her at the top of S-tier for me, her gloves are stupid but the rest of her design is an absolute 10/10. Outside of that huge disagreement, I can quite agree with the rest, and hell, any list that has Cynthia and Lusamine on S-Tier (and that approves of Melony's thiccness) is immediately a good one anyways. That was a very fun video to watch as fellow men of culture.

@@ImportedCheese Yeah, let’s just say they let Giovanni be a Gym Leader for a reason. Team Rocket has infiltrated a large chunk of Kanto’s League Challenge in the Adventures series. IIRC, Lt. Surge almost drowns Red if it weren’t for Poliwhirl evolving. Koga ambushes Red and Blue (Green in JP) in Lavender Tower using literal zombies and his Arbok. Charmeleon cuts Arbok’s head off at the neck, but it survives and is later used as a plot point when Koga fights Agatha. Adventures is crazy.

I was convinced that Fantina was a dude in drag for like a decade.

You put my main S-Tiers (Zinnia, Cynthia, Lorelei and Juniper) in S Tier too, so I'm very pleased with this. There's a couple differences I'd make here and there for some other characters, but in general pretty good.👍

This list is probably the best one I've seen, you must've really studied the waifu meta for many years. This is amazing and much more consistent than any specialist I've seen before could rank them. With that said I wonder wtf was the criteria for choosing the girls for the list

I'm shocked the Battle Pike Frontier brain from Emerald wasn't here :P

Surprised about the Zinnia placement since I know a lot of people don't like her but overall some good placements. There're some glaring omissions like Plumeria and Oleana being the only villain team admins (Magma admin Courtney is my Erika) and 0 Frontier Brains but it's not that serious.

I used to be madly in love for years with like a real life version of Erika lol. Id definitely go for a girl like that given the chance. But theyre harder to find than a mythical pokemon. But i hate what they did with her in the anime, in my language she sounds so obnoxious, just about the opposite of what youd expect.

The "French gym leader" happens to only be French in the international versions, except for the French version of course. In the original Japanese and in the French version she is English. Since the original japanese game has precedence for canon material, her being French is just a localisation change.

Interesting, that's kind of like what they did for Magnolia in Bravely Second! She's French in the U.S. version, but just...an English speaker in the Japanese version. Except her English is kind of suspicious, so playing the Japanese version as an English native is an...odd experience.

They really did the female gym leaders dirty in gen 2 with those portrayals, only Jasmine goes unscathed! Though I like to imagine Clair matures in the future the way Blue did. They are both very strong trainers that just needed a good kick in the pants to humble them.
