Many people remember Roberto Baggio missing the penalty and causing Brazil to win the World Cup final, but not many know that his great performance through the tournament was the reason Italy made it to the final in the first place. Yes, two other Italian players missed the penalties too. Yes, he won individual awards after the Word Cup and he continued to play in the national team. And yes, he was not treated the way Escobar, Ginola or Beckham were treated in the same decade. But still losing the most prestigious football final, especially with that penalty shoot, still hurts him. Who will not be hurt though?

The fact Baggio was holding his pain, taking pills (tho he was allergic to painkillers) after the match with Hungary, this show how Italy desperately needed him, he was a literal hero, scoring a wonder to take them to the finale, but of course, human are just human And limits do exist

And Italy did not only forgive him, but celebrated him as one of the best, if not the best, italian players of all time. He had the legs of an 80 year old, but still ran and ran, it didn't make sense. With legs like that it would've not be weird for him to retire below 30s, yet he still outplayed anybody. That's spirit that can make you do that, and the love for the game. Baggio was someone that loved the game so much he literally sacrificed his body for it, and seeing how he talks about the missed PK in 1994, even his soul. But he's still the biggest legend in the heart of every italian.

And that's the saddest thing in life. Being sad and being depressed are not the same. A person can feel sadness if he has for example a bad partner, bad parents, bad friends, while depression is worse. You literally can have the best of life, but still all what you feel is emptiness. I hope you will overcome it, mate 💙!!!

I've been feeling lonely from age of 15, never really had friends, now at 23 ive got used to it, i go alone every where, concerts, restaurants, movies, groceries etc. It's difficult at first, but then you start accepting it.

One of my dogs died in the first Wednesday of 2024 and a few days ago I had a work party when it was like 3 am I was biking home and I saw a park, it decided to sit on the bench in-front of a frozen lake. Snow all around me and it was snowing lightly, I just talked like he was with me on the bench and talking about how a great dog he was. I cried I laughed and I wanted to sit there until the end, but after an hour I decided to stand up and go back home. It was just a great moment to let my feelings out and feel like he was with me again.

It is me, for the most part it is about me, or at least it has to be me before being about any other person. Not to be egoistical or anything is just that love has no meaning if I have never understood what it is. Love, care, purpose and all sorts of intense and important feelings are nothing but words if they have no meanings to me. What is love shall I ask and only if I love myself I can answer that. What is care shall I ask and only if care for myself I can answer that. What is like to have a purpose shall I ask and only if I have a purposeful life I can answer that. Only when those and other questions were answered then I will be able to reflect on another heart.
